Stefan,

how about shutting down this thread, having absolutely nothing to do with the purpose of the forum? If these types of debate start appearing, the server will blow up in a tick. There will never be an agreement between the atheists and believers about gods and dogma. And you'll end up fighting bills for more and more memory on servers.

In a modern society (secular, as we are told daily) religion is a private matter, not public.

Not that that is the case when politicians go around professing their "spiritual" allegiance to this or that religion, stick their preferred insignia onto the money and force children to pledge their unreserved allegiance to this or that "god", which is absolute hypocrisy, but all this pointless debate is out of scope here.

I vote for a cull. If only to make those fanatics understand that their fantasies do not make the fabric of this particular forum. I haven't seen any of the, obviously more intelligent, atheists forcing this type of debate here forcing their opinion onto others, so there's no excuse for religious bull to stain the forum either.

Didn't Stefan speak up on the 9/11 thread? Obviously he doesn't mind these kinds of thread in his forum.

Not knowing what the answers are, it looks to me, that no one knows. We don't have the answers to the massiveness of the universe or the infinitesimal string theory like we don't have the answers to which religion or spiritual reality is truth. Perception is reality and we all have ours. Science is derived from what we know and don't know. Spirituality comes from what we feel. Maybe the truth is in the middle of those.

Stefan wouldn't take down the thread that I started and told him to take down.  In a public forum all opinions are valid.

Your higher self has the answers, and will give them up if you conform to the ways of your spirit.

Hahahahhahhahaaahahahahahahaaaaa!!!

This thread has nothing to do with religion!
"God" or "the Universe" or "all that is" is part of our being. Religions tried to institutionalise this and make rules and regulations, but they have nothing to do with the universe. these are organizations just like a political party. they just misused the name God for they purposes and as a consequence the masses make the wrong association.

Free Energy is one of the things, besides water and air and fire, that we received from "the universe", but we forgot how;
so this thread is absolutely not out of place!

I'm going to be blunt. I believe that most of the people here are actually anti-god, and prefer worshiping their own desires.

Z.monkey, since you started this post. I think you should just slap yourself silly until you finally wake up from the meditation. I wouldn't recommend meditating, you aren't ready for the evils that will approach you while you're in that state - you'll be take for a ride and then some. God is not in one's hearts, but there's an entity there. Everyone has this entity as a companion, you cannot rely on it for guidance. You must teach it the right way.

Do you want to find god? You could do what people do when they want to search for god. Aye, head for hardship. Solitude, fasting, contemplating god, asking for god's help. Perhaps in a forest. Or you could go research text that mention god.

FAR, hmmm, far out man...

You shallow doubters don't phase me a bit.  I did all that stuff, fasting, living is solitude, climbing mountains, years of studying philosophy, and psychedelic drugs.  But, you know what?  I did find God.  We hangout on Thursday nights, barbeque ribs, and drink beer.   He makes a Kick Ass Potato Salad.  I'm headed over there tonight.  I'll mention that you think He is a myth.  He usually says the same thing, "each will understand with time", and "their time will come".  Then we get back to discussing philosophy and drinking beer.  SO, I'm sorry, FAR, if your mind has not expanded yet.  You would be of far better use if you were open minded and not a misguided cynical doubter...

Blessed Be Brother...

Why use double speak at me? I'm not after Orwellian thinking that you just made there.

I agree

In my opinion  the  leaders  of  the major religions are the only group of people that I  feel are more corrupt than  the people leading our countrys .

I am not saying that they   are doing worse things than  the  people leading our countrys .............but  they   have spiritual  training ........  The  religious  leaders   understand   hw things work ......... but they  hide   most of that knowledge  from  others  and  teach mostly  fear  and  judgement .

The  leaders of our  governments  can  claim ignorance  of how things really work ........  I know Bush  doesn't have a clue .

I think God also does not give free lunch! You have to pray him which will increase your inner power and better understanding of the world. That will make you work in right direction and benefitting to all. He wants us to do it and get a power and knowledge from him. So if you keep praying regularly, you will be highly motivated to work for betterment of mandkind and universe and solve new mysteries.
I am Hindu and we have huge Vedik philosophy which explains this. For example when you practice Yoga, you increase your inner powers and can concentrate your mind more and more. That helps you solve many problems.

Howdy Kul_ash,

So if you are Hindu you should understand the concept of Karma (no free lunch).  I agree that you are rewarded to the extent of your efforts.  This is the reason I sacrifice my nights and weekends working toward the goal of Free Energy and Overunity.  Although those two terms are misnomers, we will find better terms when we have a greater understanding.  OK, try on this concept.  Each one of us has a little spark of GOD within us.  This is the I am that I am, our Mental Body.  So each one of us has the ability to reach up to our higher self and access what GOD is and knows.  I think it is possible to achieve the highest understanding of science, physics, and the nature of the universe by gaining access to our own spark of GOD within, our own MiniGOD.  So what do you think?

Blessed Be Brother...
