This is something I need to get off my chest, because the arrogance of the other side is unbelievable. I have been working in research for over twenty seven years of my life, and I will state without doubt that I understand The Scientific Method and the procedures of Research. It doesn’t matter what field they are applied to, the Methods are the same.

It is the requirement of every scientist to disprove his/her own hypothesis. That is the method of Research. That is why a Theory is always a Theory. The Method requires that we use theories as tools, but we never assume they will ever be Facts! You need to fully understand what this means. It means that we, as Researchers, need to ALWAYS look for the data that will disprove a hypothesis or a theory. If the data does not disprove it, then it only confirms the theory, but never changes it into a fact. This includes the sacred cow that is Darwin’s “Origin of Species” and the Theory of Evolution which so many people treat as “fact”; or the rabid hatred of the evidence for “Cold Fusion”.

That being said, this ideal needs to be applied to the search for Over-unity. So many wise-guys come on this site and try to belittle or scoff at others who search for evidence of Over-unity. This I don’t understand. To point out flaws in someone’s procedures or results is the job of any Researcher, but to reject the idea of zero-point energy or energy derived from an unknown source is, to me, an arrogant stand. As long as you keep in mind that knowledge is in flux, and theories are waiting to be disproved, then there should be no area of research that should be laughed at or discouraged.

We know from previous research that the matter that makes up our universe is in constant motion and some form of energy keeps this motion going. To think that someday we will not be able to tap into this energy is again, to me, arrogance beyond belief.  It is close-minded. Just like those who cling to present day theories like they are facts. The reality is that we truly don’t know for sure what fact is and what fallacy is. We are in constant search for truth, and that requires we view research in any direction as a search for the truth.

It has happened countless times in the past that those who thought they knew it all were proved to be wrong. I guarantee it will happen again in the future. So get off your high minded arrogance and open your minds. Someday YOU may be the one that will be laughed at when your theories fall.
