Newbie looking to 'get started'

Hi all,

    Since I've been a victim of "downsizing" I now have the time to look into my "someday box".  One of the things that I've been meaning to look  into "someday" is alternative energy.  So, I've started doing research on the web and one of the things that has really caught my attention is Doug Konzen's "OverUnity Pulse Motor",  which has led me to this site.  As a starting point, I would really like to build the simple one he demonstrates at YouTube using the magnetic reed switch.  As I said I'm a newbie, and maybe this same question has been posed many times but, can anyone direct me to any plans, sites, articles, where to get parts, etc. on how to start building Doug Konzen's "OverUnity Pulse Motor"; or perhaps what key words to search for on this site?

I'm new also and know darn little about building circuits but Doug Konzen has something that if it works as shown will change everything.  It looks simple enough for even me.

Ray  there is so much here Its almost unbelievable  this  gent you just mentioned  I personally have not seen till just now  looks interesting  simple  batteries can be tricky   Im traveling  when I get home tomorrow  I will look at this myself  Thanx fellas maybe we can learn something together   Chet

    While searching the web for something nice and simple to get into the Bedini motor, I came across this site; even though it's not "overunity", to me it looks like a good basic place to start and then move on.  Hope it may be of help to others like me who are just finding out about "overunity":

yes i am real as they get and  if i was a lawyer   overunity would be shut down by now  for defamation and other  things but since they keep going on about their business i figured i would get some coverage time with them until they  get wise of me  in here

free energy,   this ncbooks guy is a fraud, there is even a whole thread here dedicated to him.  it is "FREE ENERGY DEVICE from Ebay???   he has been exposed.  too bad it was not before he burned many people, including me, he owes me money and will not pay.  i still have hard copies to prove it.
