Relay Boost Circuit eval/testing
« on: February 18, 2008, 06:43:57 PM »
@ All

Posted this in the tesla project a little while back and i dont want to clutter their thread.  Allcanadian was nice enough to draw a circuit diagram and the hot paint drawing next to it is from me.  This steps the voltage in the cap up to approx 60v or a little higher with the current specs, I have found that a greater henry rating/inductance in L2 will speed the effect up. Also the 1n914 makes a huge difference, its a lo loss signal diode.   I figured it was worth a look becuase the set up of it is out of the ordinary. Thanks for your time folks.
