which application for the third world ?
« on: January 03, 2008, 04:15:39 AM »
Hi everybody !
I'm sorry for my poor knowledge about all this very interesting stuff but I don't have time enough to study all the technics : I go to Cambodia next month and I plan to build a plant to pump water up to a tank at 6 m high and charge batteries for a village too far from the town to be connected to the grid. We plan to buy PV pannels but it's expensive.
I would really appreciate if someone could give any informations about what is really working today among all the devices described in this website and which can be machined by local labour and give enough power to carry out our mission.
I also need information about any organisation which have already build this type of engine in a poor country.
For my part I will send all the description and videos of our realisation.
Thanks a lot for your help.
