HHO Fuel Cell HELP
« on: January 02, 2008, 08:50:30 PM »
I have created a basic hho fuel cell and I am installing it into a 2001 Chevy Tahoe which is fuel injected. My question is other than the wiring and hose, the  HHO producing fuel cell, vapor catching canister, fuel cell relay and on/off switch do I need anything else?

Do I need a Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE), Pulse Width Modulation, any modifications to the O2 Sensor? or anything else?

I want to do this right.....PLEASE HELP.

you will have to incrementally regulate the intake of the gas to see what you can "get away" with without modifying your vehicle.if you wanna use more hydrogen you will have to retard your timing(0 degrees @TDC)and either make or buy a circuit which"tricks" your ecu(o2 sensor mod) into non fuel enrichment(because of the higher content of oxygen in your exhaust...makes it "think" it is running lean).

One of the very first problems you will have will be with heat and excessive amp draw on the alternator.
I would strongly recommend investing in a hho pwm to protect the cell as well as your vehicle.

You can find nice ones with gauges and stuff here:

Not quite right...

Heat : Its caused when you have a higher voltage tn 2,134V betwen the plates. 5neutral plates + pos and neg = 7 X 1,714V the profesional systems are working with that voltage and 25-28% KOH at 70-80º  Celsius.
Security is an issue you need flashback arrestors!!!! An Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE) depend on your car. A distancer will do most times.... ;)

I agree a distancer aka o2 sensor extender, I also believe a pulse width modulator is the best way to go. lose the neutral plates and control your amps. with a pulse width modulator and monitor your amps while idiling. anything over 10 amps at idle will harm your alternator once you are running steady you can adjust your pwm to your desired amperage. www.extremehho.com has great pwm that mount right on your dash check them out also www.3rdbrakeflasher.com has a digital defie on sale right now for $75.00 which you can store your settings. I also have great hydrogen cells at www.hydro-extra.webs.com that have custom features that are a great buy. Heavy duty CPVC mason jar lids, (9) laser cut 316L S.S. plates. all my kits come with the bubbler, flashback arrestor, heavy duty o2 sensor extender, 10 gauge wiring with fuse holder and fuse and all your teminal connectors, check valve, braided hoses, complete installation instructions, free shipping and Email support as well as a phone number to reach me to save you time when you need assistance now.

Thats right, with a PWM you can control the Flux.

nice sales speech... ;)
