I think the reason why they use things like the way the capital of the U.S. is just to gather more followers, and too strengthin, or impress their current following, in these secret society cults. Some take the cults seriously, they are the stupid ones, but they hold it together, others are smart and use them just to gain power..

The Mayans had a different understanding of the same 'piece' of time leading up to 2012 (yes that's right!! Not bible induced fear)

I have received a few since then mostly lists of dates of talks etc.

Hello Friends of Mayan Majix,
I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!
1) Monday Nov. 19th began the 5th Night of the Galactic Cycle. These are the times when I really miss Ian and his ability to fill us in on what he felt we would be encountering this new cycle on the Mayan Calendar. What I can do is tell you the dates of the last 5th Night (of the Planetary cycle) - December 21, 1932 September 6, 1952 and encourage you to do what Ian would do and look at the historical events that occurred during that time and perhaps it will help in understanding the cycle we are now entering. I was recently looking thru a book of Ian's which he used in his research called "The Time tables of Technology" (ISBN 0-671-76918-9).
Some key events that occurred during this time period include: the depression, RCA demonstrates the first TV, Color photography is developed, Microwaves are discovered, the first rocket launched in Germany, WWII, the Atomic bomb, Roswell UFO event, the first computers developed (Z1 and ENIAC), the scanning electron microscope is developed, the first transistors is developed, the atomic clock is introduced, the first supersonic airplane is flown (X-1), video tape recorder (VTR) developed, the US explodes its first thermonuclear device (H-Bomb).
2) I was sent an interesting article written by a Celesttina in Nelson. B.C. who shares her thoughts on the

We had just entered the 5th Night and look at all the technological advancements that have happened in previous 5th nights.
It sort of blew me away.
For those on this forum who have been working very hard to find their particular answer to their particular problem, chin up its just around the corner ;)

Why can scientists just come out and say hey ... The artic is melting... India is getting snow and the oldest folks there say theve never had snow in india, the us is getting colder... All these things are due to a magnetic pole shift... and no i dotn mean the south pole is now the north pole i mean there axis is getting skewed and is goin to cover different parts of the world . So in english OUR MAGNETIC POLES ARE SHIFTING AND CAUSING CLIMATE CHANGE THIS IS SPEEDING UP. SO next time someone says hey there about that global warming or global cooling.. Tell them why its happening. All this 2012 doomsday shit is nuts the public needs to know that there is a way to evaluate star charts to anticipate this magnetic shift and thats what the pyramids and some of the great incan and myan monuments probably wanted to point us to. I think humanity has already done this a time or two....Now thats mind blowing.

absolutely, once or twice, maybe even more wouldn't you say. interesting the weather, if you don;t like it just hang around a little while and it will change. same can be said for the powers that be, and even the frequency of the the earths frequency. and even complete changes in the earths magnetic poles a time or two.. must be the way of things we don't understand yet but we still have to live with or not. a little free energy might help to make transitions or changes in climate a little more bearable.
i also read or heard somewhere, it may have been on art bell, that all of the pyramids, here on earthe and mars have the same basic layout, as IS would say hummmm!!! just some thoughts, but i don't think these are the type of thing to worry about. let's just do what we can while we can, to make the changes easier to live with for as many as we can because it is alot easier to get along with a little help, imho!!

forgive me, for that one i havn't a clue. my memories of art ten or fifteen years ago might be shaky at best. just a thought.. does the pyramids of snefru have a layout that corresponds to the golden mean? i think that was what they were talking about. even the ones on mars. really i never researched it much. just an interesting show probably?

As far as I know there is no common pattern to pyramids apart from the fact that they are pyramids. There is a great deal of variation amongst them, angles mostly, some are steeper and some less steep than the Cheops, where the golden mean applies.
It is interesting to note that the Snefru pyramid I showed the picture of is ascribed to Cheops father. In other words it is earlier.
Most measurements and speculations about pyramids are derived from the proportions of the Cheops pyramid and then generalised. This is strange since any egyptologist will tell you that the Cheops pyramid is atypical in design.

again it has been a number of years since i heard the broadcast, however, i think what they were talking about was the layout and positioning of various pyramids at each site. the layout of the various pyramids at the various sites were where the golden mean ratio was involved. you might take a look at post number 647 in the main pyramid thread here, sorry i can't seem to figure out how to move the picture over here.

I get that. But this refers to the complex at Giza. There are any number of pyramids in Egypt and they do not follow the same pattern.
The statement was that ALL of the pyramids follow the same pattern and that is patently untrue. Giza is unique, as is the main Pyramid there. They do not have any real parallels anywhere else I know of.

As to Mars or anywhere else in space, even if they exist, there is no way anyone can make a definitive statement about it. No-one has been close enough.

If you guys are interested in the civilizations before us may I suggest an interesting book to read?
Its called "Dead Mens Secrets" by Johnathan Grey. Its not fictional, rather gathers information from a variety of sources and presents them in point form with some lovely pictures. You may or may not agree with some of the things presented in this book, but it makes for an interesting read outside of the box. There is a whole section on pyramids from around the world.

They certainly did have beer in ancient Egypt. It is said that one of the female pharaohs was very fond of it and drank little else. If she did it right they probably didn't need to embalm her since she would have been pickled enough.
Wonder if their beer was as good as VB. ???

Seriously, there is tons of evidence that civilization has advanced to a point, and almost disappeared, and done this several times. Man caused? Drastic earth changes? Who knows. Collisions with celestial bodies might have played a part as well. We are where we are and need to make the best of it. what kind of beer is VB?

VB is a fairly bitter beer (Victoria Bitter) that is brewed by the same people that make Fosters. I guess you know that one. The reason VB, even though it is a better beer, for many years now Australia's most popular, is not available overseas is that it does not travel very well, Fosters does.
Just imagine a Fosters with a bitter kick in it and you get the idea. Pity we cannot exchange beers the way we can exchange words on the internet or you would have one in front of you right now as I am.

In regards to the pyramids, I think that they all have one thing in common, and that is their positions on a global scale. There are over one hundred pyramids that have been discovered in Shensi Province of China alone, one 1200 feet high, 2/1/2 times the pyramid at Giza. I think ancient cultures knew alot more about the earth than we did, its interesting that these pyramid structures have been found all over the globe.

Unless one believes in the story of Atlantis, (I am not sure if I do, or don't) I don't know how one could explain the point you just made about very similar structures cropping up all over the world BEFORE travel between the continents was known. Maybe people traveled all over and we just think they did not? I have always wondered about why different civilizations with very different religious beliefs would all build these structures. I wonder if all of these civilizations also had beer as well?
