Erm !... I thought the Amish led simple lives without electricity and motorised and/or electronic technolgy, there seems to be reference to all three in that video.

Not only that, but c'mon... Who has 500,000,000 to throw away on a concept that could be useless. Sorry, but I think I lost my wallet on my last visit to the planet Saturn  :P.

*Okay, I stand corrected... according to PesWiki, Thrapp is Amish.

My message to skeptics: No one is asking you to put down your own money.  I myself agree:  for a candid, full-disclosure conversation in order to bring these inventions to the world under GPL, a hundred dollars is cheap.  Where do you think this guy is getting money to pay for the laser thermometer, the pass-through ampmeters, etc etc. That stuff costs money.

Let's hope we can communicate with him and show him we are sincere and interested in spreading the technology to the world for free.

I have not yet received any reply from Mr. Thrapp to my email.

But I uploaded his 3 videos to my Youtube account,
so they will not get lost, if someboy would delete his account.

Now they are also over here:

If this seems legitimate, I'll throw in a dollar or two as well to help the cause.

i truly hope that the two STE's will NOT go in with a "ministry? pshaw! get a grip you!" and "yeah whatever" attitude. nothing whatsoever can be gained with that.

i would be interested in finding out how they constructed the heater-sphere and how they measured and mofiied the 9V battery to create a frequency  inside the cavity  that produces immense heat.  i.e, what is the idea behind the modulation of the battery's voltage, does it go to a signal generator, or someting else, and how have they reflected it back inside the sphere. keely made thousands of machines  , i'd like to know how manyeth device the overunity heater was from their side of development.

also, do they charge the starter-batteries or just buy a new one, and what else have they created (stubblefield earth batteries?)

also would they post  a list of the dvds they have for sale, prices and lengts, because i'd like to buy some.

Okay, first of all, the idea that he is "Amish" seems to me to be only be an assumption.Where do we have confirmation of this?  None that I can see.

From Sterling's Peswiki page;

Quote
Director: Timothy Thrapp

Timothy Thrapp is Amish, a religious group that does do not believe in participating in anything modern -- tractors are forbidden; they stay with horses. So he's far outside the box both scientifically and religiously -- and business-wise as well.

It's not proof per-se but I presume Sterling would not make it up. Besides, according the the peswiki page he has had contact with people who have met/spoken with Mr Thrapp.

@ Stefan & Everyone

There seems to be an ever increasing body of people willing to 'throw in a couple of $/?' to make contact with Mr Thrapp. Firstly, In my brief time on this forum, no where have I read, in any other thread, people are willing to part with hard earned cash for info, all be it small amounts. This seems to be an unprecedented action. Is it a sign of the times and a reflection of peoples opinion to his legitimacy?
Secondly, we can't exactly pass round a collection plate for said $/?, how would we go about this?

What are your thoughts?

Okay, thanks bourne. That's the sort of info I was looking for.  Let's hope he replies to Stephan.

To me it depends on the quality of information.  If the person is willing to answer specific and detailed questions regarding construction and replication, the time is most certainly worth it.  If the answers are vague and indirect, then you will probably know pretty quickly.

no matter WHAT is said, we need a recording of it. tone of voice  and  mutual modulation happening between two people having a conversation  will be a real eyeopener.
a recording. please.

not a quick blanket report.

@Stefan

If you have a chance when you speak with him if you could squeeze in a question about the timing device for the primary coil in the  Stubblefield earth battery, specifically" the construction of the relay he describes in his radio interview with the water cell guy".  And if they have a dvd on just the earth battery from nathan stubblefield. Thanks

 im still amazed that * lets interview * him is still being pondered...how about cutting to the case and getting plans to the solid state gen ?, i mean sure you can talk till the cows come home, then what ?

.. id like to see a list of things he has THAT WORKS, and then yeah IF they work lets pay him for the plans and get to testing ,refining and working out a dead simple no fail way that some one can make and use it, it does seem kinda creepy how he dedicated his life to working on this stuff to what? save the world?, help others?, but then he will only talk about it for $100 and hour ? or you can get a video of it for $30 to $50 ?... how does that actually help any one except for him-self?... ::)( just seems odd).

 (yes of course im expecting to be flamed, go right ahead, for me im not one to beat around the bush and i never have been id rather see the cold hard facts and go from there).

yikes! /faint , i gave my car up a year ago , i just cant get my head around paying for fuel when its basicly thieft !

ive been hoping to find some answers here in OU.com to make and electric car. ive seen some really GOOD stuff here too but for some reason when something looks really good and about %95 of it is in the open and ready to go people seem to run away and bury there head in the sand and its all forgottin about. ???
like the rotover for EG. it looks really good and as soon as it starts to look like its making some progress it seems to turn into thin air.

, i cant help but thik from all the ideas and stuff here on OU.com that there must be some simple thing that works some where!, well id like to think so any way.
