hydrogen creation storage and use
« on: November 29, 2007, 06:52:01 AM »
hi i am kind of new to this and i am not very good with making things. however i would like to make a system that would allow me to take the hydrogen from water store it and a device to use the hydrogen to heat my home. i could use some small solar panels to get the energy to make the hydrogen and i would like to be able to use human power via a bicycle to create the hydrogen maybe even a very very small wind turbine. maybe a few small tanks to store the hydrogen in (is it dangerous to store in tanks?). also some sort of heater that is powered by hydrogen. i dont know how to go about starting a project like this but if someone could give me a little advice on how to do this i would appreciate it! maybe how much something like that would cost to set up and how to do it thank you.

or i would like to hook up something like a very small wind turbine and a small solar panel that will just turn the electricity into heat as the panels or turbine makes it. this way i wouldnt need batterys to store the power i just use it as i get it. i just want to get some free heat in the winter help please i dont know the first thing about setting something up like that.

HI THERE:
     JUST A SHORT NOTE TO EXPLAIN A LITTLE ABOUT HYDROGEN AND STORAGE.  WHETHER YOU USE HYDROGEN GAS OR JUST HHO (HYDROGEN/OXYGEN MIX) EACH GAS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.   EITHER WILL EXPLODE WITH LITTLE OR NO INPUT FROM YOU.  IT IS BEST TO MAKE HYDROGEN ON DEMAND (LOOK UP HHO GAS PRODUCTION) AND SEND IT THROUGH A BUBBLER WHICH WILL GIVE YOU SOME FLASH BACK PROTECTION THEN TO A BURNER, BUT REALIZE HYDROGEN MOLECULES ARE A LOT SMALL THAN REGULAR GAS (PROPANE) MOLECULES, AND A LOT MORE POWERFUL, SO YOU CANNOT USE A PROPANE OR NATURAL GAS BURNER TO IGNITE THEM, AS THEY WILL IGNITE AT THE FIRST OPENING IN THE LINE.( OR THE PLACE THEY FIRST COME IN CONTACT WITH THE AMBIENT AIR.  FOR HEATING PURPOSES, I HAVE FOUND A HEATER AT www.creative science.com THAT IS VERY SAFE AND EFFICIENT.  YOU'LD HAE TO BUILD IT, BUT I BUILT ONE AND IT WORKS QUITE WELL.

GOOD-DAY ;D

so i could just create hydrogen and use it right away and it wouldnt be dangerous ? i could do that using wind and solar power but i dont know how. i just want to heat one 12 by 12 foot room in my house. im not good with electricity or building things i dont know the first thing about setting up anykind of alternative energy system is there like a step by step manual anywhere lol

HI THERE;
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF WAYS TO GO WITH THIS...
             HHO GAS IS EASILY PRODUCED, JUST READ THE DIFFERENT FORUMS ON IT AND THEY WILL PROVIDE ACCESS TO PROCEDURES AND VIDEOS FOR DO IT YOURSELF PROJECTS.  IF YOU GOOGLE "HHO GAS PRODUCTION" THERE ARE SITES THAT WILL SELL YOU THE FINISHED PRODUCT.  STUDY WELL FIRST...THEN APPLY.
             ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE, AND NOT VERY EXPENSIVE:  THE NEW PROPANE FIRED "VENTLESS HEATERS" IN EITHER HEATER OR FIREPLACE FORM.  SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN $ 100 - 500.   WITH THIS SYSTEM YOU GET APPROX. 98% EFFICENCY AS THERE IS NO HEAT LOSS THROUGH THE CHIMNEY OR FLUE. THESE SYSTEMS ARE WORKING, PROVEN, VIABLE SYSTEMS, THAT YOU SIMPLY HAVE HOOKED UP TO A PROPANE TANK OUTSIDE YOUR HOME, AND YOU ARE READY TO GO...NO RESEARCH...NO BUILDING IT...NO TRIAL AND ERROR....NO EXPERIMATION...JUST A FINISHED PRODUCT.
          HHO GAS PRODUCTION, ALONG WITH MOST OF THE "FREE" ENERGY CONCEPTS ARE IN THE "DEVELOPMENT" STAGES, AND ARE REALLY READY FOR THE CONSUMER ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS.  THERE ARE TONS OF VERY INTELLIGENT AND DEDICATED PEOPLE  WORKING ON IT EVERY DAY, BUT WE'RE JUST NOT ALL THE WAY THERE YET.
          FOR YOUR APPLICATION... I WOULD SUGGEST THE PROPANE FIRED SYSTEM, AS YOU SAY, YOU HAVE NEITHER THE KNOWLEDGE OR TIME TO PRODUCE A D.I.Y. SYSTEM AT THIS TIME...THIS WAY YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED AT A VERY EFFICIENT COST, AND THEN....... GET EDUCATED...GET ON BOARD...AND HELP US DO THE EXPERIMENTS ON THE NEW CONCEPTS...THERE'S A MILLION FIELDS THAT WOULD WELCOME YOUR HELP. ..AND EVEN HELP YOU TO LEARN MORE.
P.S.   WHEN YOU HAVE A QUESTION  "GOOGLE" IS THE QUICKEST ANSWER I'VE EVER FOUND......

GOOD-DAY AND THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST.
