"backyard inventors" - that's an arrogant observation.   Ya know, there are actually several Engineers and Scientists that frequent these forums - some even funded by large corporations or government entities.

Searched the European Patent Office site for the international classification listed on the IP and got 3527 hits - lots of competition out there.

In another hand there is wall of silence and information blocking I am facing, not to mention regular "scaning" of my computer and place I'm living, so I have not other option but to go public in form I am going, just to protect my self and family. First thing I intent to do after patenting process alow me, is to give technology on independent review and then publish input/output data for cell as per those review results.

Ponds: real name Zayev ( Zajew in russian l.)
He was head of russian cold fusion program in 60-ies.
But according to academician Leonid Fominsky ( also from Ukraine as Zayev) he simply had not all information needed to make all run properly.
Russians do it so, that divide work and papers so, 1 person, even heading project, does can not gather all informations.
This program was going from end of 50-ies about for 10 years, after first Filimonienko researches which proposed engine for space flights on slow fusion.
The engine was resembling something like todays VHG of Potapov, but was more sophisticated and using costly materials such palladium and titanium.
It was running on much higher temps as VHG, about 900 deegres.
Zayev ( Jew from Ukraine) was after 10 years from program end, allowed to go out from Russia.
Filimonienko for his political activity, ( he refused not to take part in much more important nuclear program, i think he had something common with Sakcharov) had many problems..... ::)
