water-cooled collector conductors
« on: November 06, 2007, 10:00:07 PM »
I am a newbie so bare with me if this sounds ridiculous.  I want to build a tpu but from experience in the electric motor field something tells me the ir losses in the collector windings are going to cause this unit to overheat. Since most electricity travels in the skin of a conductor I was thinking of using copper tubing instead of wire for the collector windings.  A small flow of water through the cooling coil/collector would go a long way in preventing overheating as well as raise the efficiency of the collector copper if it looks doable.

a solution for heat

build a tpu that does not produce any heat

lol

ist

so now you all say how?? i say first start with tubes   then ss then a magnet then you will know how  ;)

i will tell you all this all that is here is not the finished tpu  :)  you will not see the finished tpu here  ever as i beleave

now go ask yourself why??
