Schpankme, when to much water is accumulated in the air it creates rain and rain water contains iron, so there for, the water content in the air must also contain iron. IMO

nightlife,

There's no IRON found in the "Unpolluted" air you breath; how did IRON get into Rain Drops?

Sparks,

There is not NOW, nor has there ever been a BLACK HOLE (not found, not observed); and you acting like a PARROT and repeating the same bs does not make it so!

Big Bang is dead.

I was studying some relativistic physics  concerning the gain in mass of an electron undergoing velocity change.  The electron gains no electrical energy yet gains mass. Therefore the gain in mass must be magnetic in nature.  The size of the electron does not increase with velocity either.  The electron most contain a magnetic vortex or vorti whose velocity is increased in order for more mass to exist within the same particle.  If we change the magnetic flow in a field in which a conductor lies there arises an electrical potential. This energy could be due to the velocity change of the magnetic vortex within the electrons.   The mass of the electrons changing with a resultant orbital shift of the electrons within the atoms of the conductor.

I dont think anybody can claim that NOBODY knows what electricity is....................That would be a little presumptuous ???.

Just trying to understand how increasing or decreasing a magnetic field creates emf.

If the magnetic dipoles of the electron spin to align with the external magnetic field this results in a change in the spin angular momentum of the electron. If the spin angular momentum of the electron is coupled to the orbital angular momentum then there will result a change in the orbit of the electron. The uncoupling of the spin momentum from the orbital momentum results in a conversion of the orbital momentum into vectored energy.  As the external magnetic field stabilizes the dipole shift stops and the spin angular moment recouples with an orbital moment and current ceases.

We don't know what they really are, we observe them as force fields.  In an oscillating system, the electric field stores energy like a spring, and the magnetic field stores energy like momentum in a moving mass.  People always assume that a moving charge creates a magnetic field, but can't the magnetic field create the moving charge?  How do we know which comes first?

Personally, I feel they are both states of energy.  The electric field is the potential energy of the universe while the magnetic field is the kinetic energy of the same.  Gravity is an affect created by them.  When these two forces are made to oscillate in phase with each other at a specific location, light is produced and radiates from that location.  At a high enough frequency, light will interact with the smallest particles of matter (the particles that make up everything, that makes up everything in an atom).  If light produces a perfect reflection with a particle, it will transfer twice the momentum.  This is known as radiation pressure.  If we then assume that a piece of matter is being constantly bombarded by ultra high frequency cosmic radiation from all directions, we have an interesting phenomenon.  If an object of matter is alone, then no net force is exerted on it, since the momentum transfer is in all directions.  However, if a second object is placed near the first, the ultra cosmic radiation is shielded on the sides of the two particles that face each other.  This produces an unbalance of force and the radiation pressure pushes these two objects together.  The more mass the two objects have, the greater the shielding will be.  This "shielding" is what we perceive as gravity.  So objects with large mass will exhibit more "gravity".  This theory then explains gravity as the absence of light (light at a frequency that interacts with the building blocks of matter).  This of course is only a theory that I read somewhere... but it makes a lot of sense and I like it - still doesn't explain everything, but what does?

If you read anything dealing with basic thermodynamic principles, you will quickly come to a realization - if everything is less than 1, and entropy is working to neutralize all the energy in the universe, then we should never have existed to begin with.  Therefore, since we are obviously here, the universe must have an opposite form of entropy, an ordering - basically there must be a way that the universe creates energy just as fast as it dissipates it away.  I think if people in the researching field would come to this realization, then a collective search to how energy is created could be accomplished.

Since the universe's foundation is based on electric and magnetic fields, the answer will lie in them.  To create energy, I think you need to have a way of producing changes without a reactionary force (or atleast with a greatly reduced reactionary force).  By applying a little force, you create a greater change that does not counteract your applied force.  In order to do this, you need a field that is self supporting, a field whose internal direction is different from its outward direction - something that interacts with the outside environment yet its flux returns to itself.  Well, right away we see that it can not be the electric field, since its flux is only in one direction, it radiates outward and does not come back.  An electric dipole has a direction of flux in one direction, both inside and out, from positive to negative.  However, the magnetic field is different.  A magnetic dipole has a flux in one direction on the outside and an opposite direction on the inside.  The flux radiates out yet returns to itself.... so it is in the magnetic field that will create energy.  This is where my research is at.

But after all that is said, I still don't really know what a magnetic or electric field is!

Hi all....
Here is what Tesla said....
"The day when we shall know exactly what electricity is will chronical an event probably greater, more important than any other recorded in the history of the human race.
Then it will be a mere question of time, when men will succeede in attatching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature....see the excitement coming" Nikola Tesla.
--------------------------------------
Researchers, experimenters and other people, read about Magnetic Current, then you will know what it is, how it is made, what makes it, and how it runs in a wire. Then you will know what the North and South pole individual magnets can do, THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT ELECTRICITY IS.
Ed Leedskalnin.
---------------------------------------
A semiconductor is an element with a valence of four, which means that an isolated atom of the material has four electrons in its outer or valence orbit. Electrons in the valence orbit are only weakly attracted by the nucleus of the atom, and thus, can be dislodged from the valence orbit to become free electrons. When a free electron is dislodged from the valence orbit, a vacancy is left in the valence orbit, called a hole. The hole behaves like a positive charge, which will attract and capture any electron in the immediate vicinity.
------------------------------------------
So we get positive charges from a vacancy? and the vacant spot can attract and capture electrons? then where does the positive charge go...back to nothing from where it came?
We get charges from nothing.. ???.....lol

I consider all matter as light resonating.  Light caught in a fleeting equilibrium of two forces willing it to be on it's way (anywhere but here) and a second force wanting light to be in one point. The absense of time/energy is inertia and standing waves.  Time /energy is what we all want to control.  Control of light energy so that time will be what we want it to be..   Light becomes the true commodity of life.  In an electron there is trapped light.  It isn't much compared to the sun prison but it is there.  If we add just a little bit of discord to the electron equilibrium then light, the energy of all life is freed.  Not for long though because the forces  will try to put it back under their control.  By using time/energy to mess with the fundamental forces we can upset the electron resonance.  From the electron will come energy in excess of the energy used to upset the resonance.  Like punching a hole in the bottom of a plastic bag filled with water.  Electricity is energy or time creation.  Magnetism is force controlling how light will travel and charge is force controlling where light will go.  We don't need to annihalate the atom or fuse it to another one.  Just give it a poke and let the light free.

"I think that the North and South pole individual magnets are running in an orbit around a common core in an atom the same way as they run in an orbit around a common core in the perpetual motion holder that I made. The only difference is that an atom has a small orbit, but the perpetual motion holder has a large orbit. I have never seen an atom but i think the atom drawings are wrong. They should be drawn to fit the earth on account of the fact that the atom is a part of the earth. The earth has 2 magnet poles. This means that each pole has an equal pull and push to hold the earth together, and so each atom should be built as it could have 2 poles. In that case BOTH THE FORCES that make magnet poles should run around a common core (the core could be a particle of sunlight).....I believe that if some enterprising man would analize the magnet metal which comes straight from the earth, he would find that the metal is NOT BUILT UP BY PROTONS AND ELECTRONS, but by NORTH AND SOUTH POLE INDIVIDUAL MAGNETS"  Ed Leedskalnin.

I believe Gravity is an effect of a force that is seeking to put all  into a single point. This force is countered by Radiance which seeks to expand all into obllivion.  They are so opposed that perhaps a unifying theory on a mathmatical level would be to just throw a negative into all the constants and give them new names. ::)
Since time is energy dependent or is dependent on change I don't really want to see any team win.  Though at 53 I'm getting pretty fed up dealing with gravity.
Not that I want my atoms scattered on the solar wind just a little relief from the single point field would be nice. ;D

Today i was reading an article about static electricity...
This is what it said.....
Static electricity is electricity that does not flow in a current. An electric charge is generated by rubbing two nonmagnetic objects together. The friction between the two objects generates attraction because the substance with an excess of electrons transfers them to the positively-charged substance........
--------
Then later on it said.......
Your new electrons fly over your body because they are looking for a positive charge. If you touch a metal doorknob, the electrons on your body will leap into the metal, attracted by the protons there. The transfer of electrons is actually a small electrical current, and produces the tiny electric shock you feel called Static electricity.
-------------------
well bugger me....that explains it good.
http://www.electricityforum.com/static-electricity.html
 ???
Now i will tell you how it works....
Rub some hard rubber until it gets hot...then attract some salt with the rubber......now move a salt crystal a bit and there is a good chance it will jump away.

Yea thats a pretty crappy explanation.  I don't know why some people try to act like static electricity is different from the typical battery electricity.  They are the same thing, no difference.  "Static" is just high voltage.  Any high voltage source will make the same "static" that is seen when you rub your socks on a carpet.  The only difference is in the power levels.  High voltage sources will kill you because they have quite a bit more energy behind them.  So when you short a high voltage source, it will push maybe 2mA through your body whereas the static from the carpet will push only 2pA (peco-amps).

Basically, your body has a certain level of capacitance, which is not nearly as large as a high voltage power supply.  If you had a really good capacitor connected to your feet, you could probably store enough energy to kill someone if you rubbed your socks on the carpet for a long enough time haha.  100,000 volts stored in a 1pF capacitor is way smaller energy (~0.01Joules) than 100,000 volts stored in a 1mF capacitor (~10,000,000 Joules).  When either of those capacitors are discharged quickly, the current produced will be proportional to the amount of energy that is stored.  The pF capacitor will hurt (like the shock from a door knob), but the mF capacitor will kill!!!

Why does the salt crystal jump away from the hard rubber when you move it a little?
Here is another thing...
Rub the hard rubber and attract iron filings with it......then remove the rubber and approach the filings with a steel magnet.....now reverse the steel magnet and approach the filings.....some of them will jump away....
This shows that the steel magnet changed the poles in the filings...so they jumped away..
