Ok, i've read how it's made and how it works. But i can't seem to be able to make it. I know you need one all-north-facing-inward and an all-south-facing-inward magnets on the sides, but how do i make that? You can't place place two magnets both facing the same direction together, they repell. I know i'm a newb in this field, but help me out pls? how to do so? glue them together even if repelling?

There are probably many ways to make a SMOT, but I will tell you from my own experience what worked for me:
The magnets on a single side must be pushed together while repelling.
If you place them on a strip of steel it will be easier to push the magnets together and glue them in place. I actually placed mine on steel and then just put a layer of packing tape over them to keep them in place.
The steel also seems to help shape the magnetic flux in a way which also causes it to work better.
I can post some pictures of mine if you need more clarification.
