a posible solution

for offset

or phase what you want to call it

wind 3 trigger winds for the input of the next gen  ;D   see do you get what i mean or do you want it out right??

hell  here it is  we have 3 coils of say 5-10 turns to detect when to fire the next coil or sig genny!!!!!!     thease coils are located @ 3 diffrent places around the coil  but you know what we arnt there yet  ;)  but soon!!!

ist

so when you first start it then what it is a cat chaseing its tale  it will only take a pluse or 2 to start  we must bring our siginal out of the center of the ring to close the loop after first or second fire  and recycle recycle recycle recycle  how???  with our mic of course  or is that our balum? hummmm

I meant DC Offset, only important if your doing DC Coupling on the output stage for having a simular Ground, or if you want to offset a signal to more positive or negative when combining

so you speak of the power supply

for the gennys ??

as in a split rail im not right up on all the electronic terms

like 5- gg 5+  i was going to use the ground as sheilding for my siginal carrying wires

i did find a power supply i hope to use for the unit but we will see

ist

the outputs of this supply are

+3.3
+3.3
+12
+5
+5
gnd
gnd
gnd
+22
-5
i was gonna try the +5v gnd -5v  to power my generators if no luck i will keep looking i have quite a pile of stuff kicking around this place  kinda of wish i i never threw out those 30 sat recievers i had for forever  but you always need it after the fact  :)

a  question for all the smart guys here

lets look at cat 5  ethenet cable

if you notice they are twisted in pairs then sheilded  when i was installing wireless internet i was told that there were less losses in siginal when the wires were paired and twisted

so my question is this can i use a twisted pair of cat 5 1 wire for siginal and the other as sheilding 1?!?!?!?!  this is for inside of my box only  all out side connections are made with coax input output test and read points there 19 external connections on my box 13 output points and 6 input

ist

i dont see how i could go wrong useing cat 5 inside my box  the more sheilding the btter  ;)

oops is that some kinda of secreat hummmm!!!! well for results in the force feeding part yes it is when useing ss outside of the ring with a tube amp  yes this is not the right path  :(  not the way sm wants  :( it makes  me sad that i have to do it this way but here we are but just cuz i want to keep it real!!! i will do tubes too  as i get more money to play with when i am compleatly finished this project i will totaly understand each and every aspact of this unit  :) and that makes me happy then i will teach it to those that want to learn it to better them selvs and save a few bucks

but those of you that want to do it the right way like sm would like please use tubes  the path will be easy for your scucess  ;)

why do you think we need to use tubes!?!?!?!?!?!

We're not likely to ever re-engineer the T.P.U. without first starting with tubes as SM suggested.

I think you won't see anything useful without floating grounds. Common grounds kill O.U.

the main part of my mess is a tube powered amp  as i think and know  ss gennys can be used  and well they are used  but extra mesures will have to be taken  to get it to work  so if i have no luck with ss in my early tests  no loss i will do tubes as well

The ECD is a floating ground design and produces dangerous output using solid state digital input.

as you can see i left lots of room inside the cd rom cases  well so i can add aditinal sheilding if need be like if i have to encase each freq genny  seperatly in a tin box  and add more  or better sheilded wires in this box to get this to work i was also of thinking of putting the whole thing in a sat case after i get it producing perfetc sine waves with no interferience  from the coil  so....

why will we get inter ferience from the coil? well what do tubes do diffrently ? why wont soild state work outside the ring ? hummmmm
why must our ss controld be inside the ring and the sencitive ones be in the center of the ring?  well in the  center of the ring  the verry center there will be no flux am i wrong?  ok so if there is no flux then there  will be no interferience  and even if there was flux or is flux than if it was sheilded it really wouldnt matter right

so tubes and ss what is the diff? well this is only a thought i have no idea if this correct but magnetics!!

ss will fail with high magnetics tubes do not no?

ran out of solder the other day got some more today so i hope to finish the wireing tonight lastnight i noticed on my scope i have a built in 12v offset power supply  ;D so no need to serch for one of those

all wired and soldered just some small wires on the pots left im still short 4 pots i may have to solder the surrface mount ones in to get them running and setup

the mess  heres the pic
