@Paul-R,

I'm not arguing what the patents pay. Few of them do not only in the US. When you have a US patent, however, it does protect you. This is a serious legal document and messing wiith it brings you to court. The problem is that the patentee must prove workability of the device claimed otherwise it's worthless.

It's usual, in this area (overunity) especially, to throw an idea in the public domain for others to prove its reality and then claim priority and all the monetary consequences therefrom. To prevent this, interested parties have to ask the patentee to demonstrate the viability of his claims first. If he or she cannot do this the patent has to be revoked..

that?s a most sensible statement . Well put.
So if I have an idea that might work, all
I need to do is patent it,and tell everyone it works.
And then let them put in countless hours trying to get it to work.
And then, if in the unlikely event that is really does work,
(after countless hours of research and modification)
sue them or stop them for patent infringement and reap all the benefits?

Tell me that it isn?t so!

So then, the best course of action is to leave ALL patented
Free energy devices to the inventors to save the earth with then?
And move on into unexplored new physics?

On the contrary, as I said, ask them to demonstrate what they claim and if they're not true to their word revoke the patents.
