Hey GK
So would the spark gap be across the diode?

Hey GK
So would the spark gap be across the diode?
Mags
Across the diode would include the inductor and the cap on the other side of the current loop.
The diodes would cause a one way dead short across the spark gap that would not allow the charge pump to build as much needed to bridge ionize the gap. This I have played with quite a bit moving the connection points attempting to keep the spark from happening. Using microwave transformers or ignition coils as the simplest way to stick inductors into the charge pump. Keep the input voltage low and alter the frequency to moving the incoming values around and through the operating window. Follow Tesla coil tuning guides to secure equipment from failures via EMP or discharges. And this is the step where caution is needed. This is the part of the schematic that is purposely left out due to liability.

In this charge pump the inductive storage is on both sides.
The input side is a step up and the output side is a step up with the charge pump in the middle.
The bleeder resistor is just like the resistors across the large caps in the LTPU.
The LTPU shows two large charge pumps but only one spark gap as per the one open fuse and one open fuse holder in the rear. The parts are there in the many photos we have. Twist connections around the configuration.
So one can see with two large charge pumps and EMP discharges the testing at this point is very dangerous. The beginning point for me was the GK4 as this was an open face microwave transformer of sorts. 48v at 5khz was enough to prove this stage was valid. The wrap around circuitry, physical configuration and tuning were the next goals.Discharges are to be avoided if not handled correctly. This is the one conversation I wish I could have with SM. Containment while designing. I burnt a lot of equipment. The TPU is circuitry just like the stun gun design. SM stated that all must reside inside. What a clue that was. The charge. He also stated that if you ground the center you lose it.
The TPU is an open air stun gun/ Armstrong operator with the discharge buried inside. This is the exact opposite of the other charge pumps we see where the circuitry is inside and the discharge is external. I refer back to the High Q multiplier.
The oscillations were transmitted and captured via directional ring antenna.
Build a charge pump from uwave or ignition coils then create a feed back to retrigger the oscillations.
The neighborhood will shut down. This answer was given too by his demos in the house on the hill by the power towers. I think he used those to camouflage the signature.

Simpler diagram that seems to retain all of the critical features.

Im not seeing the potential function of the spark gap where you have depicted it Rei.  That wouldnt discharge the cap into an action that does anything as there is no connection to the collector circuit by the top side of that cap. The cap would still remain charged.
Also by eliminating the armature side( top terminal) of the relay to the left, makes it non functional also as to the original circuit.
If the fe  or iron wire in the collector circuit induces the collector coil, then the logical spark discharge would be here on the right in green.

That is EXACTLY what I thought, then I actually tried it. ;D   It seems things get interesting and a bit unpredictable when we get above a few hundred volts.

I used a 600v GDT and a ~2mhz Tesla Extra coil, driven at quarter-wave resonance with a small linear amplifier and a watt or two.  0.001uF to 0.02uF seemed fine.  Potential was measured using a scope probe near the coil as well as with an isolated DC meter directly across the cap.

As you can see, it was a simple setup with no recovery/harvesting, I just wanted to confirm the cap discharge effect.
Once the arc is established it seems the built-up charge has a path to equilibrium, so it rebalances and discharges fully (or at least 80%).   Seemed vaguely reminiscent of Aaron Murakami's plasma ignition experiments.    Or maybe it was an artifact of my setup? (end-driven so potentially similar to your pic).

Ionization of the air above the cap lowers the resistance between its’ terminals
(by ‘above’ i mean where the terminals exit the cap, not how you orient it in your circuit)

Hello all,
I see there are postings about audio circuits.
The feedback loop creates a much needed oscillator and creates physical motion. That motion vibrates the two reflectors. These are creating cymatic patterns which forms resonant patterns in the acoustic field through kinetics. By shifting the center control vertically in the container I can create a potential difference in the aether.
The picture of the microphones pointing into the speaker flushed SM out to start posting publicly. His response was 'Finally'.

I am at the place where the antenna needs a container for the reverb/snubbed destructive harmonics to be tested.
The design and construction are taking place in Unity/Archimatix then exported to Vectric Aspire 11.504 for router table cutting. I did all my exact measuring in Blender then built the Ax graph accordingly. The container will be 5 feet in diameter and around 3.5 feet in height. The LTPU by itself only goes to a certain level of operation. The next step is housing the unit, like in the book. I still have to figure out what I am going to tell the insurance company as to how my garage got warped or the hole in the garage ceiling.
People been poking at me and asking as to what I have been up to over the years. So here ya go. I took the TPU beyond all conception. After all, the story need props, right?

There is a second book in the works but it has no publish deadline as of yet. Jack Canfield, who wrote Chicken soup for the soul said 'Just write a book and you wont believe where it take you'. I see now.
