HHO Engine Redesign
« on: August 24, 2007, 05:45:46 PM »
Hi
Since HHO is both the combustible and the oxidant is there really any need for all that other air in there? We don't need the air for oxygen so what do we need it for? Why not eliminate the compression phase or if not completely eliminate it drastically reduce it?

PS for HHO only fuel

Here is an idea
Once sealed nothing would come in or out of this cylinder. Obviously good cooling would be needed on the tube to prevent all the water from turning to steam.

LOL, funny I was just thinking why not just use the pressure to push a piston since HHO is an expanded gas, obviuosly much more expansion when ignited.

I was thinking modify your standard 4 stroke car engine to be idunno more like a 2 stroke or somthing like that.

I had the same idea. ;) You could change the rpm by adjusting the voltage to the cell.

Air is needed in the combstion chamber because it expands when heated driving the piston.
