No, Tesla did not solve this, in fact it destroyed his lab many times..
Then he decided to study it and study the factors that made it happen.
He generated Ball lightning which floated around for several seconds destroying anything which came on it's path.
The ball would just vanish taking down everything which was close to it.
He studied what maked it happen so he could take it in to account in his following experiments, if that is what you mean by he solved it.
But he never completly solved it because it many times destroyed his equipment and there are a few eye witness reports on this still available.

hello all may i sdjust a little test

this test is to find a way to collect the rf flame or the the re that is released to a spark gap at the right angle how can one collect it

i can produce rf or re easly but how may i collect it ?


a diode? a cap what this is the test im doing to day looking for a way to collect the re or rf also looking for a way to see if in fact  the rf or re has any power to it or if it is just pretty colours

i will post a simple picture of a coil producing rf and re and maybe with some luck today i will find a way to collect it  ;)

ok all i have put to gather a simple coil  for this test it is 300 turns 6 " of 22 ga then it is 600 turns over the ring of 22ga as well  that is all in this coil then i add 12 v dc from mains  to a magnet and i have a large rf flame and re zap the spark or burst of rf and re is about 3/8 " long and makes a verry lould noise  i can feel the zaping when i hold the discharge wire in my hand

so now im producing radient engery it is now time to play and see if i can collect some of it i would post a pic but my cam is not here i will get it later on today then i will take a picture of it  first i will try a diode from my magnet to my meter and see if it registors

well to make re is easy but to collect and use is tough i have had no luck so far with this alto i put a peice of alumnimum wire around the ring an when i put power to the alum wire it makes some kind of electro static cuppling to the ring i powered 1 wire to ring and 1 wire to alum wire weird

is
any ideas how to collect the re?

well i got my ring mag thing to run real well it will now run for minunits without stoping producing huge kicks the entire time but still no way to collect it the way im looking at this is that if i can produce i must be able to collect no matter the scale my scope is at its lowest my spikes are way off the scope and only positive spikes it is a noisie little thing  and does not seam to get hot at all the magnet or the coil it has been running for 4 min stright and no heat but still all the kicks
