All of the designs suffer from the problem I discussed earlier. ie. entering "equilibrium" from a position of full attraction. This is the sticking point. It is very simple to 2 dimensionalise these designs and analyse them in a magnetics analysis program (FEMM for instance) to see what happens.

PS Why does no one use there real name on this site?
