But was that your forum installed or updated or upgraded ?
And when ?

Why are you silent, Stefan ?

Are you waiting when the topic
>> http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=35152.msg261229#msg261229
will be Locked.. or Removed ?

Gri,
I installed the forum via fantastico script.
There it was installed as version 1.02.
Then I updated the forum to version 1.03 via the online
update inside the froum admin area.
It seems my  forum has no errors as in your installation...
Maybe try to install your forum again fresh from
the start.

I only have a problem with my hoster in this moment.
The site here is very slow.
Do all the other users also have slow connections
over here to overunity.com ?

It seems there are sometimes some packets loss and
the server is acting slow.
It seems I have to look for a different hoster very soon,
if the problems keep on.
Unfortunately I don?t have much time in this moment
to look for a good hosting company.

Please let me know, if you all also have problems
accessing this site.
Thanks.

Regards. Stefan.

Stefan,

A few hours ago the site got real slow, then stalled out and would not load. It seems to be back to near normal now.

Stefan,
unfortunately I don't know what "fantastic script" is.
Please give me the link to the original package 1.02
you have installed first.

It seems you have no error of the turning off
the subscription after a quick reply.
Here is a correct logic of using the Default value of
(Profile -> Notifications and Email ->)
[ off ] "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic."
setting.

Upon this fact we can assume that fixing of the error
is not an accasion and the developers have really tried
to fix the error. But they couldn't fix it correctly
in all official download files.
I have downloaded and checked downloads on May 14, 2005.

I have used *.tar.gz files of
1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3
installs, upgrades and updates.

Among them ONLY smf_1-0-3_install.tar.gz
has no the default subscription error.

1.0.1_install has an error.
1.0.2_install has an error.
1.0.2_upgrade has an error.
1.0.3_upgrade has an error.
1.0.3_update  has an error.
...

I also have met 1.1 beta 2 upgraded from 1.1 beta 1
with the same error.

You can test the error there, for example
http://anythingeverything.org/index.php/topic,70.0.html .

We must stop the spreading of the error.
We must spread the precautions about the logic errors

and about the removing of the certificates of the errors
by moderators of simplemachines.org forum.

Look there,
the new victims of the False are inevitable

~suddenly~.

Please warn "sudden" and other SMF community users..
because my posts and topics are being continuously Locked and Removed.
You know also that I am threatened to be banned.

Returning to your forum..
I am surely subscribed to this topic.
At your forum the subscription is not being turned off
after quick replies..
if to believe to the "Notify" button message box.

But, attention!, I have not received the notification itself.
It is another problem. May be it is not an error of the program.
May be.
But the problem IS.

Can you determine whether any notice was really sent out
from your forum
about your previous reply ?
