I know a few of you guys have been making progress by using original
experimental componets that were used in the early 1900s. Point in case
(the meters act as a choke) a nessessity in one recent project. But the
prices are staggering I've just purchased a 1915 door ringer from an estate
sale and ended up bidding against the historical society (or is that hysterical)
for it. I got it but my heart goes out to you guys looking for these things.
At least iron wire is still cheap.
