Replication of Otto`s replication of Steven Mark`s TPU
« on: June 06, 2007, 11:53:48 PM »
Hi all,
It's time to make something!
I am newbie there, but I built some of devices over years. My first was JNaudin's TEP... and so on. There were not successful. I hope that the TPU will be the XI. century's "Lost Ark". I started this topic because it seems that there is a large claim to replicate Otto's TPU replication. I am a technical man, I have a lot of things (scope, power supply, etc...) and ready to replicate Otto's device and MAKE ENERGY.
Well, here is this topic to collect results, experiences, theories about Otto's device. (Because Otto a little bit lazy abot making precise docu and post it to somewhere - sorry for tha sarcsm first, but someting strange about Otto's behaviour). The handwitten scratces are not enough to start experiments.

We need exact informations about:
- cross-section of wires,
- precise wounding schema,
- exact place where the exciter coil(s) are connected to the ring,

In my first look:
It seems that the "ring" works as a very special transmission-line. It needs more analisys. (There is an old paper... where Sweet Floyd tells that ".. The people knows that a C capacitor is a two parallel plate with two cap and thats all.  NO, the real capacitor is a transmission line!) . I mean, and Otto's write one exciter coil is enough with the mixture of 3 freqs to ignite the energy making process.

So,
- isn't it better to connect the one exciter coil at one "end" to the splitted ring, and the load to the other end?
- is the inside ring and outside ring placed the same X-Y plane? Is they on each other or beside?
- what does happen if we don't use "normal lamp wire" for collector coil, and increasing the distance of the two core of "normal" cable?
- is it essential that the exciter coil (transformer) wounded around the colletor coil?
- if it is, what is the diameter and wound number of exciter coil,

....
and so on. A ton of questions unansvered to make experiments with success.

@Replicator

Just download the pdf that was prepared, Otto changed the wires sizes of the control wires a bit, find that post unless it has already been added to the PDF and replicate EXACTLY.  Do not try to second guess it, or change it, then that is NOT replication.

If AFTER you replicate it exactly and you want to later change it, start a new thread.

If you do not want to replicate Otto's plan but want to change or adapt it first, please change the title of your thread.

Thank you and happy experimenting,
Bruce

Hi,
You got great enthusiasm! You'll go far. There is alot of background info through all the threads. What ever you do don't get bogged down or feel there is too much. Just ask questions and someone will answer. This is all a very cool situation to be involved in.

Welcome aboard.
