« on: May 27, 2007, 06:14:07 PM »
Have a look at these 2 videos:

Could be have been using springs in there ?

The wheel seems to accelerate on the table !

Regards, Stefan.

Tom told me privately,
that he thinks the table is tilted in both videos
as you might could see from the markings on the chair
versus the table ?!
So it could just be an optical illusion, that the table is flat
and indeed it is tilted , so the toy rolls down a hill ?

Regards, Stefan.

And here:

So it is just rolling down a tilted "ramp" table.

After playing with our metal one we built, It will at least pick up speed quicker than just a plain wheel on the down hill but that is it.

Hah!  I knew that kinetic energy of the crashing would cause a
speed increase!  :)
