sorry for that my question may already been answered, but has anybody build a working replica of the johnosn motor?

I never saw someone working / trying to replicate this motor, it's sound a complicated device todo because all the magnet used are like an arch, and even johnsons was not able to replicate his first motor, so. it's kinda hard to say his device is working, they are other device that look more promising then his motor

Johnson was not killed, and the papers and pictures are not destroyed. Hence the motor never worked - or never will ;)
I agree with TheOne - probably another design would work better.
