Yes Egypt had batteries, bulbs and steel. Not iron but high grade steel. Found and kept secret are giant tuning forks with a string to pluck to start the vibrations. They are large from 4 to 8 feet long. Hidin in a museum in a locked room see keeley net for more on this.
had a video on the translation and reconstruction from the translation to the working model of the bulb, lost it from virus attack. Can't find it on the net now but, it might be available if we ask lonelantern for it, I'm pretty sure that's were I origanally got it years ago.
