It's all actually quite simple, never use repulsion in a magnet motor.
Take 2 magnets and force them together with 2 equal poles and keep them like that for some time (days) and they are wasted. This is a common problem with most permanent magnet motor designs; they use repulsion or some other strange way to warp a magnets field. Do that for too long and you will ruin the magnetic domains.

I don't belive anyone has made a purely magnetic motor.  I have been involved in working with this for some time and have tried several combinations.  Nothing works for one simple reason:  The magnetic force is constant and will always tend to equilibrium thus can't work.  I do however belive that a combination of magnets and electricity can work to improve efficiency of such a motor.
I'm happy to be proven wrong but so far the Science is solid.

Allways someone who say hello, they have invented a magnet motor that works, and then disappears. Ofcourse they have no pictures, no drawings - if he had it would be impossible to replicate the motor, no spareparts left, no money left, the manufacturer of the magnets are bankrupt, all the employees are retired and have alzheimers so it is impossible to make such magnets again. Typical. Anyway, I hope he returns with some pictures - even if I do not expect so...
