Recycle / Salvage for supplies...
« on: March 13, 2007, 09:12:27 PM »
I've been rounding up wire from TV's/Monitors at the junk yard and from donations. There are so many reusable parts to build fun stuff from and recycling seems like a good thing. I don't really know how to recycle the tubes though?

Old motors are good for wire, too. Sometimes the berrings go out and destroy the housing - making the motor fairly unrepairable.

Of course, it takes more time and space to recycle. Large moving companies throw away lots of broken stuff - write it off to insurance. Anyone else have some tips on parts salvage?
