Title: Permanent Magnet Core Material Active Switching Motor
Post by: Lunkster on September 05, 2023, 10:56:23 PM
Permanent Magnet Core Material Active Switching Motor

The goal is to have a permanent magnet motor that
will continue to rotate as long as the permanent
magnets have flux flow from them.

People including me have built devices that do not work.
That is not to say that there are not designs out there
that will work.

I have been working with motors that operate by using
the core material in a toroid coil to produce the torque
to operate the motor.  I built some test fixtures that verified
the torque that occurs in this technology.

The core material in these motors operate different
than a permanent magnet in electromechanical devices.
A permanent magnet always has a north and south pole
with flux flowing through the magnet. The core material
only has magnetic properties when an external magnetic
field flows across or through the core material.  Then
when the power is turned off, the magnetic characteristics
also go away.

I also found out that in an open gap of a magnetic field
That if you layer torque material between being
attached to the stator assembly and alternated with
the rotor assembly, that you can amplify the torque
between the stator and rotor assembly through a
constant flux flow.  I tested 228% torque with four
rotor tabs in the gap compared to one layer.

I working with this new technology, I have the question
of, can I incorporate this technology with another
technology of using permanent magnets to have
a system where I can have a rotating motor without
any electrical input into the system?

In theory of how to do this, is to be able to turn on
and off the flux flow through the gap areas of the
device.  In this way I would have the flux flow in
the device in order to pull the core tabs of the rotor
into alignment with the gap area.  Then I want the
flux flow to be turned off so that there is no torque
between the stator and rotor assembly that wants
to move the rotor in the wrong direction in the
motor assembly.

I have incorporated this function into this motor design.
I have one permanent magnet in the stator assembly
and one in the rotor assembly.  The permanent magnet
in the stator assembly are always in the same direction.
the permanent magnets in the rotor assembly alternate
between each test section of the motor assembly.

What this does as the different polarity rotor magnets
interact with the stator permanent magnets is to
alternate the flux in the gap area from double flux
to no flux in the gap area.

Now this switching of the rotor permanent magnet
into and out of the devise to provide this switching
with have alternating attraction and repulsion that
cancels out any torque for rotating the rotor in the
motor.

But what we should have left in each section of the
motor assembly is the attraction in the gap area
minus friction and other losses in the system.
If the torque created by this attraction is greater
than the losses in the motor, then this motor
should be an over unity device.

This would be an open system because the rotational
power comes from the atomic level of the permanent
magnets.

@Lunkster

I'm don't think that I'm following everything that you've presented here ~ but it seems promising  :)
Switching flux to allow getting through the "gate" ?

Thank you for your input truesearch

I have always had a hard time writing in the only language I know.
A gate is a great way to put it.

I have written about my gate in other posts for other subjects
that I have posted here at overunity.com.  The attached file will have information
that should help people to better understand what I am trying to do
with this motor design.

Thank you for your input!!!

Hello,

The attached drawing drawing gives a snapshot of the rotor in relationship
with the stator assembly.  It shows the offset of the rotor tabs in relationship to the
permanent magnets.  The rotor magnet that has a bar connected to it along with tabs
for the gap area.  The stator permanent magnets come into close contact
with this the bar that either adds flux to the gap area or it creates a flux ring with
the other permanent magnet connect to the bar.

It is alternating flux into and out of the gap area that I have the rotor core
tabs being pulled into and out of the stator tab area.  It is the positioning
of the tab locations that are critical to match the flux flow and non flow
through this gap.

Since the attraction of the rotor tabs into stator tabs is only about 25% of the
time.  This motor design, as is, would require some kind of a pull start in
order for it to be self running.  Again this motor is currently in theory,

Since the motor needs some good mechanical design work and machining,
I will not be able to build this motor.

Since few if any permanent magnet motor designs have been
duplicated and produced for manufacturing, there is a strong
reason to believe that this motor design will also not work.

But there is only one way to know for sure!!!!

Hello,

I wanted to correct my first drawing that should make the functioning
of the motor more clear.

Thank you
