I just joined the group today.  I'm not that Internet savy and I could mess things up easily just communicating here! :)

I talked with Mike several times over the years. He was a damn good guy, I took a couple years off and recently was looking to get back into doing some research. He was the first person I tried to contact since he was researching and building the same types of things I am thinking about. His website was down so I tried to contact him another way and found that he had passed. I did chat with his wife "Sherri" and daughter "Sarah" but I did nothing more then express my condolences due to the situation. I feel bad for them and I dont want to add to or bring their pain back to a hurting level. I plan on going to Florida soon with my wife and daughter and we plan on reaching out to them to try and meet with them so we can learn more about him and his work. Hopefully by then it will be more of a uplift for them then a pain.
We were playing with crystal cells and he moved to carbon and had about the same end result but with a lighter and more compact design. He used the carbon cells to charge the capacitor's to be able to have the energy needed to do real work. They do work as a standalone but do better when charged due to being able to charge the carbon cells to a greater point then the .5 volts each cell rest at. I think it was almost 3.5 volts he was able to charge each cell up to. He found that he could charge them very easy with a small solar panel with made for a great off grid design. He was a very talented guy and built everything himself.
He was also working on a pulse motor generator. I too was and still am playing with them, on paper unlike him who actually built some. Last time I talked to him I asked if he ever tried to utilize both magnet poles in his designs and he had not and said he would research that idea. I am curious if he had done anything with that idea and I am hoping our trip there will tell us if he did or didnt.
I am a thinker and I rarely attempt to build anything. I made a very small crystal cell about or longer then 15 years ago that is still alive and resting at .5 volts and I made a magnetic track with a 180 degree curve to prove a spere would make it thru the turn for some naysayers. Other then those, I really hadnt built anything like Mike did. I feel bad for that and I feel like I was taking advantage of Mike's talent. I own a 24/7 towing company, a auto repair shop and a used car lot. I really dont have any extra time to build things. I do hope to retire soon and then start building things. Mike was retired as most building these things are. Heck, just thinking about building these things are time consuming. There is no way I can have that much time until I retire. My hats off to all that do spend the time and money and I will still contribute what I can when I can. I will also reveal what I find out from our trip to Florida.

Re: Quanta Magnetics.... unfortunately Mike Kantz passed away

Yes, Mike Kantz was a great guy.I chatted a few times with him on
his Facebook account.
He really had great ideas and his craftsmanship was
really super and genuine..
Unfortunaty his generators where very expensive so I could not afford to buy them..
So sad, that he passed away so early.
I hope you can find out more in the trip to visit his
family.Tell them our biggest condulence. The world has really lost one of the best
free energy researchers.
Please keep us posted over here.
Many thanks in advance.

Regards, Stefan.

I have such a carbon battery. It's a normal (but quite expensive) galvanic battery. After a while it's discharged, like any other battery.
