The fellow over on OUR.com who posted his special motor claiming OU has the misconception that an ordinary motor only use one pole of the magnet or field coil pole piece. That is nonsense. Both North and South poles are used.

No arguments. In the past I thought I had OU using an AC motor as a load also, now I understand a bit more understanding why AC amp clamps read inductive loads like they do.

I am still contacting him to hear him out.  Once I understand what his concept is, I will report back
