Hi All,

New update on this magnet motor project.

I also show a design of a low rpm generator powered windmill, using the linear drive system.

Hi Tom,

I saw your comment on another thread about using 4 magnets at 90 degrees to each other.  I believe that will cause some problem with opposing magnets wanting to keep the slide from moving toward that opposing magnet.  If you had 3 magnets at 120 degrees apart you would then get 6 magnet pushes per one rotation of the rotor with no interference from opposing magnets.  Just my 2 cents.

Have to ask how you secure the one way bearings to the printed gear wheels? Not sure press fit would stand up to the hit when changing  directions of the slide.

Hi    Thaelin,

They are press fit, but you could use super glue also.

... not good news on these magnet I ordered on Ebay.

eBay is hit-n-miss.  I've never bought magnets there, always through these guys.
Their bigger N52s have always been so powerful, they're dangerous--smashed
a fingertip more than once and broke several plastic pry bars.

Speaking of powerful, are your rods magnetic?  When I was working on a
miniature N-machine I bought some Titanium rods/shafts that worked really well.
Stronger & straighter than Aluminum and just as light.

Yes those are metal, so magnet do effects that part of the build.

@Tommey, j'aime bien l'idée...

Thx4, "Tommey, I like the idea... It takes little energy to maintain a pendulum as in a clock, but do not forget that it is the weights that have stored the energy you will spend, the pendulum is only there to distill the energy. You might surprise us The best for the next"

Thank you, Thx4.
