@ Ramset

To be clear...

My post / topic (right here) @
https://overunity.com/19102/re-vapor-carburetor-series-by-tommy-reed-t-r-labs/msg566442/#msg566442

Was first posted @
https://overunity.com/19101/vapor-carburetor-series/msg566429/#msg566429

It was deleted while I was editing it / post editing it.
I wasn't even / at first aware that my post was removed.
Then, I thought it was some tech. mistake on my part / bad key stroke ?
I re posted it and went to edited it more.
It was deleted again.
It seems that one cannot edit a post that no longer exists.

Then..
           The topic was locked.

Realizing it was being deleted I posted it outside of that topic that is all.

Which is totally, the  appropriate thing to do.

"Each board can also have many different Threads, but the Builder will also be the moderator in all these Threads of his board...so remember this.  He has the power then to delete messages he does not like. If you want to criticize him in any aspect or find an error in his work, you should be friendly and let him know. If he does not like your critics and deletes it, you can only save your posting and then post it again into another board, where the builder has no moderator rights  and discuss it over there. this case I can not retrieve your critics postings, as it was already deleted, so better save your postings on your own hard disk, before you post it to the forum for later retrieval...
But I hope this will be all going in a good and friendly manner and people will not fall out over each other and don´t start name calling  and flame wars. "
                                                        AND
I stand by it, and a moderator's freedom to delete my posts in his own topics.

Have you read this ? https://overunity.com/19102/re-vapor-carburetor-series-by-tommy-reed-t-r-labs/msg566468/#new

The topic is NOT about Tommy Reed.
I don't know Tommy read, I have no experience of him other than having just watched
his recent videos,            and             I have not created a topic about him.

I posted a response to a video.
I titled it as such (the name of the topic and the name of the BOARD it is a response to),
that is all           and          that was and is           all it is intended to be.

Why does anyone have a problem with that ?

It is not a "fight" on my part, just a / the posting of a relevant response to a particular
statement in a particular video.
Who ever is  projecting something that isn't there on my part,
well, that's just their projection !

Wonderful example ,entitlement extraordinaire !
Interrupting an investigation at every whim !

I would imagine we could completely fill forum with off topic posts and topics on every -moment-
Of a given presentation!

Like persons barking out comments in the middle of a movie ( too important or impatient to wait until
The end !!
_Look at me _ can be so much fun !!

Sorry this is horrible example
Asking a person to PM prior to comments ( as was done by presenter )
And then ignoring ?
And starting a topic to post completely unrelated ( none phase change research)
As a critique?( flame war in slow motion ?…

Yeesh
Sorry

If a builder can’t set his own standards for engagement (please pm me with questions)
Without bored person’s unfamiliar with topic starting mirror topics ( out of spite it seems )

Forum rules will need amending to attract serious builders and researchers!

It is one thing to get out the tools and clean off the bench and show your own efforts in phase change research
Quite another to do what you did here !

I asked you in PM’s and email to discuss this
Instead you chose this path

This forum gets buried all to often by nonsense
And while you may feel water fuel is nonsense

I do not  !!and strongly feel it is a play on words ..as water most definitely can do work in the proper
Phase change Environment!!
It can be argued that at some level LENR may be
a phase change of sorts or play some part in yet understood methods !

This is gross !!

Ps
It has always been intent to invite persons here to share their work , this is an open source venue!
If every presentation gets sidetracked with distractions and mirror topics ( not doing similar research )

We need bigger boat !!

I asked Stefan if somehow those persons ( like yourself ) who build and share
Can discuss what to do moving forward…

Perhaps a room for moderators to chat in ?

After all we can’t afford to lose builders and researchers , do to miss understanding
Or resolvable issues !

We need all the help we can get !
As well some rules of engagement ( yes …that will survive scientific scrutiny too

Mostly we need patience in a rapidly evolving venue.. with extremely limited resources ( or people helping admin)

Respectfully
Chet K

As part of solution , which will not involve me (at this time ..as I have no builder board here)
Stefan is pondering a meeting for builders to attend for input on mirror topics!
And forum etiquette as it applies to this valuable resource!

Next few weeks I hope ..as he is very busy with other things ATM !

The idea ultimately being to invite other presenters here with their work for replication
One very recent example is Inviting David LaPoint
What to do?

And yes I did just receive a reply from your (floor) email
EDIT:Email Discussing things written here early yesterday !

To note above off topic contributions here in this new topic were  removed
Many times by presenter on his builders board
And he posted pm request for discussion with you or any others prior to locking topic ( others were also removed !
I believe you posted one of those unrelated ( to phase change research) vids here too ?

You responded with this path instead of a pm requested by presenter !

All things considered
This is good to sort out !!

It is a huge commitment for builders!! ( yourself obviously)
IMO they are the engines that drive the open source community !

Respectfully
Chet K

Ok
I see this has gotten confusing
To recap
4 separate times presenter removed off topic content ( unrelated to his phase change research)
3 of those times were your long contribution here ( over the course of an hour ??)
He had asked to have dialogue through pm,s  ( posted this request in the public forum…which did not happen )
Then out of frustration he had to lock his topic!

And You took this path posting info unrelated to his work
Using his name and topic!

Which I did explain to you in unanswered email yesterday morning … work was about phase change
Research into water fuel and other ( you did answer today with no comment)

This is horrible example to builders
One thing to start a similar build topic and show reasoning ?
Quite Another to post this off topic info in his name !

Sorry our opinions vary
I always try to treat others as I would expect to be treated
Ignoring a presenters request ( yes you did send Tom “mine and your” private correspondence)

And starting a topic with unrelated work ( no experiments of any kind of your own )

Nonsense!!
Your example leaves door wide open to chase off builders!!
Many would never bother ( happening here for years now , entire venues have evolved elsewhere do to this issue)
Solution:
A moderated builders board is the solution!!( Stefan started this offer to builders a few years back)
Respect to that process imperative!

Not just one builders opinion!

While one is editing ones own post, one cannot see any posts except the post
which was    just prior to their own post  (before the edit begins).

Sorry
Getting late here much to do !

I have been asking open source builders for input

Many more to call
If we are to grow this open source builder community!
We should nurture not torture!!

I have seen one off topic post open floodgate of abuse here these last 15 years
Burying topics in unrelated noise ( from builders perspective)

Have a good night
