You can wire the output coils in series to maximize the voltage. The output circuit is completely separate from the drive circuit. One shorting Reed Switch can run all four coils in series. The diode ranges need to match the power output.

Ok..  can the output coils tie back into the battery source like this website shows?

Yes. That is the ticket. Tie the Capacitor in parallel with the battery and it acts as a Voltage Regulator!

This is connected from the positive of the dynamos to the positive of the accumulator and from the to the motor and the same connection for the negative, as it is marked in the drawing, it is not a question of confusing, because if have but the positive from the dynamos to the negative of the accumulator, and the negative of the dynamos to the positive of the accumulator, the voltage would be doubled and the motor would be burned.

I may be wrong, but the schematic I posted seems like it has the capacitor in the wrong location.  I assume if it is a DC cap, it needs to be after the transistor?

I am working on the commutator to rid the whole ardiuno and circuitry.  My new correct magnets come in a few days, so I want to have all my experimenting done before building a nice model with them..

The schematic shows the generator coils capacitor between the ground (positive) of the coil and the Earth ground. This charges the same way as placing the capacitor between the opposite poles of the battery. The battery is sending power to the coils when the switch is closed: When the power is interrupted by the switch labeled #8 in the schematic the coils become the source of the power which is collected by the Capacitor as it travels to ground. This is confusing because the current reverses direction after the interpretation. The diode prevents a short circuit. The battery is the source and the coil the destination, then the current is interrupted, the magnetic fields collapse and the coils become the source. This output power does not travel back to the battery.


The diode from the power circuit is reverse biased and grounds to the positive pole of the battery. The BEMF collector is in parallel with the battery poles. Completely separate circuit!

The voltage from the 4 output coils in series is many times greater than the BEMF from the power coils. The Capacitor needs to be of sufficient value to collect it along with the switching diode. The output circuit grounds the negative pole of the collector to the negative pole of the battery. The Capacitor for the power coil recovery is in parallel with the battery and the recovery diode connects to the positive pole too. The other diode connects between the electrodes of the output coils Capacitor.

The power coil recovery circuit is completely separate and is wired to the opposite pole. Zero power from the output coils reach the battery even though there is a connection. The output from the generator coils can be hundreds of times greater!

Allow me to take a step back for clarity.  Why would this simple circuit attached not work?

The output storage capacitor is missing from your sketch. You can't run the output from the generator coils into the battery. This capacitor is a large hi-voltage can that is connected in series between the coils and the negative pole of the battery!

The positive wire from your FWBR should connect to the positive electrode of the large storage capacitor, not the battery.

The voltage in the output coil Capacitor would boil the battery. You need to match a load to the output that you draw directly from the storage capacitor. Maybe you could run an electric drill off it.

For clarity sake,

Syncro- in the video you posted me, he shows this generator circuit below.  In his circuit he shows a "Lamp" as the load.

If I copied this exactly, , couldn't I just connect it to the supply battery instead of to a lamp?

The bulb in the circuit is a neon that requires hundreds of volts. The 12 volt battery can only store a finite amount of power measured in Amp hours. After you exceed that charge level the battery can catch on fire and explode. The output is much more then the battery can handle. The battery is not running down in attraction mode anyway. You need Tesla wall battery or send the power back to the grid. Your gauging is off by a factor of several decimal places. This is a very powerful generator.


You can picture a thermos bottle size capacitor seated next to the battery that you would run D. C. appliances from.

OK cool. I am not afraid of that part.  I already have a 1200 amp hour 24v battery bank, 4.4KW solar array on a tracker, 1kw 80' wind turbine, 2 outback flexmax MPPT charge controllers, an outback grid-tie 3.5KW inverter, (plus a boatload more parts hooked up) and 3/4 of my house powered from my alternative energy system.  It's not grid tied, I use the old HBX mode..  The system cuts off over half my electric bill. 

So basically that circuit you linked to and I posted will produce usable DC.  I know what to do with it from there :)
