magnetic pendulum alternator idea
« on: January 19, 2007, 08:26:54 AM »
I don't know weather this should go in the gravity forum or not, but here is the basic idea. This is similar to the "hog wild romp" device sold on this website, except the pendulum's weight is different(see picture).

This pendulum should dodge the magnets randomly causing the counterweight to spin randomly.
Also I was thinking that if this pendulum eventually found a spot where it could rest, it would have probably generated enough power which could be sent back into the alternator, causing it to spin, or "jolt" the counterweight and get it out of its place of rest. Tell me what you think.
