I thought it was sad, you think you know a person but then find out there doing things they know are wrong and lying to everyone about it. I'm not afraid to call them out and what many of them are doing is bullshit. I would like to see legislation criminalizing producers who knowingly take action which harms others because it is criminal. The fact remains that there are countless good producers willing to do the right thing and act responsibly. These are the people we should be supporting and I do every chance I get.

Fresh, homegrown ingredients(and sometimes game that you can hunt yourself using something like 22 rifles) can add depth of flavor and nutrition to dishes, making home cooking an even more enjoyable and rewarding experience.


Even though I fully agree(and have a garden with a few rows of veg myself), to sustain this idea for everyone would be impossible. Sadly, industrial use of land is far more effective compared to single-person or single-family way of growing. If it's for your personal healthy living - definitely a great way, especially if you can afford this. But is it sustainable when everyone wants to do it? - Probably not
