My gravity wheel
« on: April 08, 2021, 05:47:10 AM »
Hello Everyone, great to be here!

After searching for over 15 years I decided to build the design that I just could not shake. The video only has two arms, 2 weights and does not use any energy source other than 2 weights. I was confused even further when I measured the forces of torque and they always showed more positive torque than neg torque. Here is the video.

Short explanation.....

To explain a bit more I found a way by only using gravity that causes the weights to move. The weights on the arms (covered by cardboard) at the 4:30 and 10:30 position roll up so that the one is slightly further from the center hub than the bottom one. When they complete 180 degrees they roll up again so that they always maintain an out of balance state fighting against one another. The wheel is balanced, and does not use resetting levers, springs or any other type of reseting mech.  The weights roll on a specially designed track that makes this qualify as a new type of lever.
