Hi All I finally got around to printing some holders for magnets to experiment with the Howard Johnson motor. It's fascinated me for a long time. My last few weeks of testing

1/2 a turn from the bottom an 1/2 top. 2 inverted rotor u's;

Thanks SYnchro. I'm building a tri-rotor arm tonight like the original patent had. I've tried the concentric 1/2 stator setup. Not sure your version of it would yield different results.
