DDS function Generator Output Amplification Help
« on: August 30, 2020, 01:49:20 AM »
Hello guys,
How are you?
I have a JDS6600 / 60 Mhz Function Generator..and it has an output of 20mA from what I have noticed.....
Product page is here:
https://joy-it.net/en/products/JT-JDS6600

I need a little bit of punching power from it..and need your advice on it.
I need it to power some transformers, play with coils etc...
What do you guys think it would be a wise decision?....dds signal generator amplifier ...or buying another more powerful Signal generator?
What signal generator do you have?
Thank you. :D

You can get a long way cheaply by coupling a signal generator (or arduino, etc.) output with a mosfet switch module purchased on ebay or amazon for really cheap for many transistor and/or transformer driver.  Good luck with this.  Sounds like loads of fun.  (search for "mosfet switch")
