I see you have many suspicions with regards to Chas Campbell,

One thing tho, could it not be that the flywheel attached to the wooden plan be in fact eccentric, wouldnt we need a shifting intermediate to dodge the force reaction?

What happens in the event that the force reation has been dodged? What physical manifestation does this incur?

On the contrary, I think its design is the standard. Whether or not there was an eccentric, I have no information. The design I was considering also had no eccentricity. With an eccentric, its shafts would simply not hold up.

You misunderstand me.

An eccentric weigh ( hidden in a circular wheel), a wheel that is loose on hinge or totally free, between the pulleys, 2 sets of pulleys to keep this balanced and straight, with a wheel limiters as to not cause wear on the pulleys and in case of disaster.

Centrifugal shift that would cause a disconnect/connect on a input side, and output side. With advantageous delay and perhaps a resonance in the ether?

Not on a shaft.
