CPG
« on: December 19, 2006, 08:54:11 PM »

This is called the CPG(circular power generator) it is based on the fundamental process of the TPU and MPI patent, it has been simplified to a mininimum number of components.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all

Nice! But thing is, the switching is not so 'easy' anymore ones one starts loading the output coils.

@allcanadian

Would like to know if you measured the approx.  20 times flux in practice for 1 unit of input flux?
Eddy current losses are no problem in the washers?

Interesting idea, thanks for sharing.

Hi allcanadian,

sorry for seemingly  'nagging'  you but I do not mean it. I noticed you edited your original post: then what Christmas present is it you would rather seem taking back...

All I would like to know is if you built the setup shown and found overunity?  (It does not really matter if flux is 20 times or whatever this number is, what counts is if it is overunity in practice or not.)
Do not wonder if members here are suspicious on ideas presented, so far magnetic circuits appearing from brainstorming have all fallen in practice as overunity devices...

Wish you Happy Holidays too.

This looks like another MEG.
I would be interested to see if you have any success with it as I am building a MEG at the moment.

But like Nali2001 said, will the input need to increase as you load the output coils?

I hope to find the answer to this burning question over the xmas break.

regards

Rob

I am quite familiar with the leap of faith but still can't see how this system would constitute an OU system. Still thank you for your gift.

This machine seems to be simulator Vs Reality, and reality has won so far. It did work kind of for a second, I had the battery wire barely touching the input wire and it was going nuts- the magnetic loop(washers) were shaking violently, the wire gap was arcing, the output coil had lots of power. Then I tried a tank circuit on the input-nothing, I tried a 555 firing a transistor on input-nothing, no output only mV.
Conclusion- Reality sucks
The sim says it might work, reality says I have no idea. In the picture the input coil has a field of 1, the 2 magnets have a combined field of 20. In reality I have 2- 1"x1/2"N38 neo's and the input coil is 50 wraps, the output coil is identical so mesurement is easier.

This wasn't supposed to be a MEG, the washers can move and they did for a second. I had the washers mounted on a hard drive platter at first and the washer turned in repulsion like a motor would, but not return to center the gap. Like there was residual magnetism in the core even with the output open circuit. Then I hinged the bottom of the washers which didn't work, finally I had the washers on the lower magnet with a gap between the upper magnet and the gap. This is where it went ape shit for a few seconds.

As to changing the post, this is no gift I got nothing as usual, a one in a million glitch. This can be such B.S sometimes I should have had a video camera. So another lesson learned- I'll keep my trap shut until it's working.

Question, why is there a part missing, (slice cut out) in the topside of the ringcore/washer? Plus you must be sure to work under saturation levels.

To my understanding introducing the gap provides a sharp magnetic flux gradient. This must be a common usage. Look at  http://www.metglas.com/products/page5_1_6_6.htm
Also look up kunel's patent. These may provide the spark. Forget the 555. See if you can trace your steps back to get it to repeat what it did before.

The gap provides a sharp field seperation in the permanent magnet field, but still let's the input circulate around the washers to the output coil- if the core is not saturated.
I saw a video by Konduct I think, on youtube where he pulsed a circular magnet at 7.8 Khz with a coil and it was jumping all over. So I thought jumping all over= changing magnetic field or resonance. All I did was touch the wires to the input and at one point I don't think the wires were touching at all, just very close together. A blue countinuous arc about 1/2mm was betwen the wires and the output bulb was really bright. But now I can touch the wires together and there is a little spark as usual but mV output-nothing. Maybe I need a really small spark gap and a cap on the input, and a switch to start it.I have tried alot of things to repeat what happened but got nothing-I think I dropped the freaking ball on this one.
I still like this design though, I just need to have the washers resonate back and forth quickly and couple the input into the output without feedback. Maybe an seperate external coil to pulse the core.
