Hi,
This is real captret circuit. Two capacitoirs in series connected parallel to another bigger capacitance .
the source of captret is capacitor C2 which will receive opposite polarity of charge and it is problem for  C2.

Thanks for posting this, Mancha. The captret theme was brought forward 9 years ago by jbpointless2 on this and another large forum (EF), with great promise in the initial stages.  Notwithstanding the efforts to derail this topic then, I think it is still very much worth another look. Hello Conrad,
Do not need to destroy capacitor as everybody is doing, also it gives  option to chose different size of capacitance and explore other option.
But major point to  understand circuit.
