REAL CAPTRET CIRCUIT
« on: March 21, 2019, 01:12:05 PM »
Hi,
This is real captret circuit. Two capacitoirs in series connected parallel to another bigger capacitance .
the source of captret is capacitor C2 which will receive opposite polarity of charge and it is problem for  C2.

Thanks for posting this, Mancha. The captret theme was brought forward 9 years ago by jbpointless2 on this and another large forum (EF), with great promise in the initial stages.  Notwithstanding the efforts to derail this topic then, I think it is still very much worth another look. Here's the old thread:

Hello Manch!

What is the purpose of your "real captret circuit"? What does it do?

Does ist charge the battery?

Greetings, Conrad

Hello Conrad,
Do not need to destroy capacitor as everybody is doing, also it gives  option to chose different size of capacitance and explore other option.
But major point to  understand circuit.

Sorry, I do not understand what you mean. Maybe, we both do not understand English well enough.

Hi Milan,

Nice to see you back.  As I see your circuit, approaching it from the battery point of view, C2 is directly in parallel with the battery but with reverse polarity and as you wrote this is a problem for it. C1 which seems also to receive reverse polarity is in series with C3 and these two series capacitors are also in parallel with the battery (hence with C2 too, of course).

Because I have not understood the real role of a captret, I cannot see the purpose of this circuit either. I think you wish to communicate something here so please explain.

Greetings
Gyula

From what I deduce from JL Naudin's experiments on the captret, a chemical capacitor is used as a battery cell. The two electrodes are the case of the capacitor and the negative electrode. The electrolyte of the capacitor plays the role of the electrolyte of this battery cell.
Raising the voltage of the main battery at the beginning of the experiment is intriguing, as the difference exceeds the voltage that a single cell can provide. An explanation is missing.
However JL Naudin showed that it is not overunity, the battery eventually discharges as the chemical energy of the capacitor used as a battery is consumed.

For Conradelektro and Gyulasun
What I tried to say that there is no need to destroy capacitor to build captret. the same  results you can get with circuit.
All the best,
Mancha

Hi  F6FLT
For me is mystery how 9V batteries got charges across LED in non conductive direction.

I don't see an led in that circuit?
But you can bounce charge from one cap to another, in the process use it to do work.
You still lose, but can the work be used , to aid the bouncing?

The Led was set between two potentials
the “backwards cap” acted as the ground fed by the
potential on the 2 series caps

“complex circuits”, meaning those with multiple ‘sources’,
must be analyzed in pieces.
Each source is examined in its’ own current loop
then the circuit is summed to determine the net I/O

In this case, the battery loop is broken down into 2 loops.
One through C2,
The other through the other caps.
A 3rd analyses is the loop using C2 as a source w/ series caps.

The ‘use’ of this type of circuit is often as a dynamic voltage control circuit
the potential between C2 and the series caps can be stabilized throughout
the lifetime of the battery charge, in many cases far below the cut-off voltage
of diodes and transistors. And in this manner, performs a similar action to a
Joule Thief, or a BatteryMax adapter

I can confirm that my battery stayed charged after 10 years (led not lit)...the only issues is that it light up randomly. Little taps on the circuit bring it to full power again...just weird behavior. If I toggle led swith every seconds, I get very bright flash foreever.

Can I assume that C2 and C3 are 47uf cap and not a 4u7f ??
