New improvements to the smart bot.
« on: January 27, 2019, 10:58:01 AM »
Been making a lot of changes and improvements to the teachable smart bot Im making. You can download it free, and teach it anything, see the readme file for all it can do. Just download the helpbot zip file, unzip it, then run helpbot exe file. See the extra folders for any new software your computer may need to add voice to the bot. The bot can chat about most anything, gets smarter the more you teach it, learns like a person does from chatting. But has many built in abilities such as knowing the time, date, day of week, month, year, and good at math. Anything you tell it will be remembered and ask a question later and it recalls what you taught it. I improve and update the software often and just upload the new file over the old one on my google drive. You can teach it about science, the world, even about free or alternative energy. Get it on my google drive at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Yb0NStOWPMsGIeGybNC0eyOH_Hv939-B/view?usp=sharing

Sounds interesting however Virustotal finds trojans:  Trojan.Win32.VB.firsco and Trojan.VBKrypt
The .exe file spchcpl.exe seems to have the Worm.Viking.Win32.22518.

Might be false positives.  I ran it in Oracle virtual box using Windows 7 in the virtual box and Avast said hold on there may be something bad in the helpbot1.exe file but then after a few seconds it said it was okay.   Thanks for the program.   I look forward to exploring it's uses.

As far as I know there is no issues there, I wrote the program in vb6, no added spyware or anything put in. I did have a minor programming glitch I just found out, which I sorted out and uploaded the new fix to my google drive, so it should be fine now. Im always updating and improving the bot and uploading the new file over the old one on my google drive. And I keep adding a bit more intelligence to the bot along the way. Its a work in progress as they say.

Thanks for your continued work on this.   I notice merlin.exe was added to this upload.   What does that file do as it was not present in the previous ones?   I only tried the text based part of it previously.
