It's possible, it's a smart and simple idea but not solid state, paper here :

I don't see it as a real magnetic diode (field lines still loop) but as a workaround to get the function of a magnetic diode which is what we need in practice.

To arouse the curiosity of electronics experts: M12 ≠ M21, yes it's real  !   ;)
