Are Low RMP Low Torque PM generators "OU" or Watts?
« on: June 30, 2018, 03:30:08 AM »
Hello OU dot com Distinguished Fellows,

Just an observation...

Please#1, ask YouTube with this kinda request : "Low RMP Low Torque PM generators"
(BTW : PM = Permanent Magnet)

You will get a lot of vids showing some  guy (apparently easily) hand mowing the axe of a device
that is powering some electrical tool. Not loaded it is true.

Now, please#2, ask the Web about the Power that can be delivered by, saying, a bike champion
(with his 2 legs). You will get a lot of web sites with calculations, charts and graphs.

Please#3, just compare Watts-Wise between the two situations?

IMO, it sounds like that some of the PM generators only need few mechanical power.

Le bonsoir vous sied,
Jean
