spherical mirror to phase conjugate
The idea is to enclose a light bulb in a container of carbon disulfide
which it is a transparent liquid that is used to make mirrors to conjugacy phase.

In practice, the bulb is turned on for a few seconds, then is turned off,
but its light is trapped forever in the spherical mirror:

 Under liquid-nitrogen cooling...


And doesn't this substance need to be
solidified into a tiny refractory film
to have the desired effects on light?
