spherical mirror to phase conjugate
The idea is to enclose a light bulb in a container of carbon disulfide
which it is a transparent liquid that is used to make mirrors to conjugacy phase.
In practice, the bulb is turned on for a few seconds, then is turned off,
but its light is trapped forever in the spherical mirror:
It should be an eternal lamp ....
-
That lamp looks a lot like a poisonous explosive device....
-
Not, with cold light...
-
Oh like an led or something..
Under liquid-nitrogen cooling...
And doesn't this substance need to be
solidified into a tiny refractory film
to have the desired effects on light?
