Fusion 360 and Upverter

Is anyone here using Fusion 360 (cloud-based CAD/CAM software) and/or Upverter (cloud-based circuit/hardware design software)?


Both of these platforms are effectively free if you meet their requirements and make what you are working on publicly available.


Cloud-based platforms make it easier for people scattered over the planet to work together on replications.

I don't agree with that at all. The programs that work in your computer, are the most reliable. like i use geda for circuit simulation, the most classical, open source and completely free. And also the best, some other freeware and also commercial circuit simulators are much more outdated.

IBM pushes the cloud things, as it always tried to find reasons to produce and sell more of their servers. IBM always promoted the most inefficient use of hardware, to sell more hardware. Because of that, they used batch processing operating systems for a long time, with punched cards and things from the beginning of the 20. century, in spite that there were time-sharing operating systems already for a long time.
