i think you ar thinking of "johnny lightning"  and maybe i was too.  the point is the steel ball running in a verticle loop in this configuration can slam that ball around the loop, and create electricity!!!!!

hey everyone,

that may have been a stupid reply.  however you want to look at it there does appeaer to be enough energy to knock the ball around the loop, and then the magnets can take care of the rest.
