Think about...
« on: August 14, 2006, 08:11:12 PM »
The "condensed" design,or equivalent of a body on a fulcrum(let's say a gravity "wheel") is a simple lever. In this case,we hope for an (continuous) unequal lever ,in free fall ,on the same side.So ,we can start with a lever(two spokes only...) ,a certain lever configuration, "constrained" in a "procedure".The conceptual(but "unseen") imago is to arouse and discharge gravity fall energy,as "waves".A premise to collect energy is to have(or to induce, provoke) waves.Think about light ,and so many...All the Bests!/Alex

...as a  "condensed'" design,a symbol(look up at so many topic "doorway" of this forum).Ussually,it lets us to dilute the effect of gravity.People say counterbalanced pendulum,I said pendular lever. The difference is what is good for.Counterbalancing pendulum is as rocking on a "cradle" of  two materialities in a potential field/gravity:one up,one down. The weight above the pivot/fulcrum has the effect of opposing the weight below it:this one pulls the pendulum in the opposite direction as the lower weight. This can make the pendulum(used as a clock, mesuring time device) slow down:it's a regularly tact arrangement. This elementary swinging motion of two  "partners" remind us about an early game of our  kindergarten time:two equally weights, one is fixed in position("passive") and the other can move, slide("active") along his place, support. For a pendulum clock,to be isochronic  is a main quality:for this we have the counterbalancing operation/tool.Thinking about these insights, can we develop  a kind of  asymmetric pendular motion? There are some attempts...All the Bests!/Alex

...to make your own flapping and rotating "fish".Take a Roman balance or build one.If you have it ,a small "reshape" only: a fit bending. Then play flip-flop and maybe more...turn it out well!/Alex

A huge "machine"...
« Reply #3 on: October 17, 2006, 02:45:28 AM »
...we are living inside, gravity, this natural linear mass accelerator.Extracting energy, when we have a potential level/height is simple:free fall. This imparts energy in the form of increased velocity of a falling mass.A repetitive fall asks for a useless Sisif work:no gain ,no income. If we try some arrangements,designs...no results. So?We are like in a "vicious"/cat and dog, circle  searching an exit to "miriabilis"/out of this world ,circle. But if we pay a short time attention around our world about some phenomena:whirlpool, maelstrom, eddy, whirlwind, dust whirl, tornado ...we have a suggestion regarding spiral motion of energy. Then,if we imagine something alike in this natural mass accelerator:spiraling gravity in a pulsatory  manner?A solid state vortex-antivortex in relation with "g"?Long arm-short arm on the same side of the fulcrum is a "classic" desiderate. The problem is that we cannot make it self.If we try to imitate that naturally "spira miriabilis"?Let's try.Think about a flip-flop "transfer" of the long arm on the same side of the fulcrum:an unequal balance(long arm-short arm),but equal masses that develops a self turning motion.A continuous balance for momentum, not a weighing machine...All the Bests!/Alex

A huge "transformer"...
« Reply #4 on: October 20, 2006, 12:55:26 AM »
...we are living inside, this natural energy primary "winding"/curvature,that is the gravitational field.Mass is the "core"/center,common space for gravity and rotational inertia( energy secondary "winding").So,as an essential image, have we a rotational energy transformer?A mechanical energy transformer from a translational form(input source, supply) in a rotational form(output...to attach a "load"),from linear momentum to angular momentum by mass coupling? All that we need is the fit ( alternating form) and continuously(self) input.Simple solutions produce the best results!Do your own through research. All the Bests!/Alex

Curling gravity effect..
« Reply #5 on: October 30, 2006, 08:41:12 AM »
...can be a short description,of a flip-flop pendulum(spinning steel-yard) that intends to get a continuous motion from a gravity flow. The natural analogy can be the notable rolling wave coming up a gradually sloping sandy beach. The well known curl of a breaking wave is associated worldwide with surfing. We think about collecting power. An usual pendulum acts as a gravity fall/wave quantifier(his length) and reflector movement(in the same way as light in a mirror).Wave breaking as full pendular fall is always a non-linear process and therefore difficult to describe analitically:it's better to understand in a pragmatic mode. So,let's think about a solid-state curling gravity fall/wave, so to collect the "splashing" energy  ,comparable to this fluid-state curling wave off the coast.A longer fall time action(charge1 for 180 *+charge2 for 180*-270*)/that's "curling effect" and a shorter rise time reaction(discharge 270*-360*) that overlaps the next revolution movement...a real loop?!A kind of "twist and turn" of a pendular arrangement.Curling, coiling, winding, spiraling a gravity fall so that reaction partially intersects action so to get a dynamic ring movement? The most beautiful experience we can live is the joy of mysteries...so many around us.All the Bests!

Free falling paradox...
« Reply #6 on: November 18, 2006, 08:26:32 AM »
...is "falling chimney effect"(search on net this  by-word).We have a ball placed at one end of an  uniform stick, which is pivoted at the other end, and makes initially an angle of about 30* with the horizontal. If the elevated end of the stick is suddenly dropped, together with the ball,we can notice something ,a behaviour worlds apart to our perception, intuition:the falling end of the stick accelerates at a greater rate than the free falling ball, proving that the his acceleration is greater than "g".It's a classic lab physics demo,also...but the real phenomenon it's more impressive.Thinking of that,we must take into account the bending moment(to "pick up" it,as a possible "gain") for a high structure(self-spinning pulsatory lever/"steel-yard/flip-flop... type).Visiting the site of Aldo Costa(France) I was amazed!Enormous work and monumental divination of a conviction, ever made by a man.His concise design,as a wholly is a wheel.Would-be he in mind,two-spokes/lever,only and the free fall "potential" of that...as Shakespeare said "To climb steep hills requires slow pace at first".All the Bests!/Alex
