I can't say if it is scientifically possible ( I very much doubt it), but I can say how I would do the trick, it's simple. The frying pan is thick cast iron type and it is already hot when he puts it down, he messes with the phones and the video is cut and joined just before he finishes the last one or two, at this stage the pan is hot enough to cook the egg without any further heating. Lets see him boil an egg in a liter of water that starts at 20 degrees C.

Cooking an egg with mobile phones sounds like a view spinner to me.

.. If you search for a video on you tube called "how to microwave bread" you will see an example of how absolutely stupid a video can be and still generate an astonishing view count. hahaha I think it's all about the views.

The best way to subvert your opposition is to lead it.

And in this case, right to the gutter where no one will take it seriously.

OK so

1. Let's say the wire racks are reflectors for the microwaves, and
to prop the phones up.
2. The video is time lapsed. No big deal.
3. How much wattage is transmitted by 9 cell phones ?

any body got some data

Here's some -

Cell phones have low-power transmitters in them. Many cell phones have two signal strengths: 0.6 watts and 3 watts (for comparison, most CB radios transmit at 4 watts). The base station is also transmitting at low power. Low-power transmitters have two advantages:

This is exactly correct. I've never seen a modern cell phone that could generate 2 Watts, even peak. We've measured both current drain and e.r.p. on an outdoor 10m range using calibrated antennas (+/- 1 dB overall accuracy) to determine actual power as closely as possible when licensing many of these devices and everything indicates about 300mW peak for the typical phone, with average power being considerably lower. The e.r.p.s are actually lower than this since the antennas have less than unity gain.

If the phone could provide 2W output even 1% of the time, the battery pack would not last long at all; on the contrary most hand held miniature phones provide 48 hours of standby and 3 hours of talk time, which based on the typical battery pack capacity would indicate that even "talking," they're usually running less than 100mW.

I guess it depends on the phone and the conditions it is used under.

If we say the output of each phone is 0.5 Watts times 9 phones = 4.5 Watts -- I doubt that would do the cooking.

If we say the output of each phone is 2.0 Watts times 9 phones = 18 Watts -- Still doubt it would cook an egg sitting on a cool frying pan.

Considering the battery capacity and the talk time of a particular phone we can assume a rough guess at the total power use of the phone,
however the actual thermal heating in the phone itself must also be considered as part of that output that is not microwave radiation.

The demonstration/trick would be more impressive if the egg was cooked on a plastic plate rather than a heavy metal frying pan.

..
This video from the same guy shows a single Galaxy S6 phone in the same trick. One of the commenters picks up that the phone battery level
goes only from 32 % to 29 % during the video indicating very little power was used by the phone.

Once again he used a metal plate when there should be no need to, a plastic plate would be more impressive of a trick.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPsCrtcEb-Y

..

Unless the demonstration can be replicated openly I would disregard it as a trick.

..

When my phone is working hard it seems to be the battery that gets hot.
I have a Motorola XT 925, Android smart phone. Actually I have two, a 925 and a 926. They have a different group of usable frequencies.

I found the article in the link about the wifi router affecting the seeds more informative and believable than the egg vid.

From what I have read recently is that when the sig bars on your phone are full, say 5 bars, that is when the phone puts out minimal sig strength. But if the signal bars are low, the output can be 100 times the low output. I for one would like to get a sig power meter that reads these freq and do some tests, but for other reasons as in testing for harmful radiations.

As for the eggs, I think he had an induction heater under the table/counter top.  Just the fact that the pan was there should be more of a giveaway. Its a shame that people put out such vids that really go well beyond possible. Like just the possibility that all 9 phones would be possibly in sync to hammer just that portion of the pan doesnt jive, along with the metal grills, considering the freq are in the microwave region of the spectrum, and to just set them up anywhere on those grills....  I dont see it at all.

Hi. The radiation is actually not strong enough and it would also require a resonating cavity in order to work. Nevertheless, the EM radiation damages the DNA in our cells, even when the warming effect is not enough to heat up our body.

Yeah Floor, you're right there is nothing conclusive.

Mags, you're right too, I also found that to be very interesting. I have just tried to germinate some tomato seeds actually and only one sprouted, I
wondered why the failure and I'm thinking maybe it is because I tried to germinate them upstairs near the wifi router. I wonder if it affects them
while they are in storage or only during the germination process. Germination r ate was very poor, not like usual, usually nearly all germinate but this time only one from 10. It is cold but I had them on a heat pad.

If the seed integrity is compromised by wifi signals even when in storage then I should shield them or store them further away.

There is a very effective solution. You can protect your eye balls with metallic sun glasses, your brain with a metallic hat and your gonads with metallic pants.

And then you connect the three metallic wearables with earth ground.

You should be save with that outfit near your cell phone, your WIFI router and cell phone towers. :P

But nothing can protect you from these dangerous brain waves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9cp_z3Cg-k emitted by aliens all over the earth.  :-X :'(

Greetings, Conrad
